Hello! Today's release is based on a popular patron request!

After last week's smaller release with the lo-bit guys, I wanted to make something for today that would be really useful for most patrons. And after seeing this request, I thought that this was also a great idea for something that would work well with my upcoming tilesets.

So I'm happy to share these with you today.

This is a set of animations for breakable crates, barrels and pots. You can see them in use in my preview image above (and imagine it looking even better if he is swinging his weapon at them)!

One important thought that I had was that the breakable objects should look different than the non-interactive pots in the environment. For the same of gameplay, I think it makes sense that the player can tell the difference. So with that in mind, these versions have some orange on them so they stand out from the regular ones.

Of course, if you want to make it so the player can break everything, then that's OK too-- the animation of the shards falling doesn't have the orange, so it will work with all sorts of objects!

Note for RPGMaker: The sheets are arranged that way to make it easier to animate as an RPGMaker event. You can switch from the top graphic to the one at the bottom, animate as a spin, and then switch back to leave the rubble behind. That's how I did the gif above.

That's it for today! I'll be back later in the week with something new. See you soon.

Thanks!
