Was just listening to back episodes of the black and whiye canons. Glad to hear another one might be in the works!

The Substack fight floored me. Substack is running a business, if there are people willing to pay for right-wing content they're going to host it. It's also the biggest host right now, so if you want to amplify your writing and possibly get paid for it, you want to be on there. The position you're supposed to take as a leftist, though, is to move your views to where less people can find them and you can make less money off of them, while those "Nazis" are still getting paid and make up more of the algorithm. Whatever, YouTube is the future, it just sucks if you're old and flabby and don't know how to use a green screen.

My counter to the Breaking Bad thing is Better Call Saul. A spin off, prequel, whatever without the budget, but, similar first run cult follow for the first few seasons, absence of Gilligan from conversations, discussions of the show. And, for my money, neither here nor there, a better show.
