Also, several Patreon supporters, including Hege and Ranveig in Norway, have written in about the incredible discovery of what might be the oldest known runic inscription ever found, just announced in Norwegian media. The best break-down of the facts in English is in this Twitter thread by the University of Bergen's Krister Vasshus. I'm acquainted with Krister a little, and I'm hoping soon he'll have some more details for us, and hopefully I can get him to come on to answer some of our questions directly. It's a major find that we surely haven't heard the last about.
