I was remiss in never getting to where I could post this last week. The Old Norse lesson you're getting early this week is about numbers, and it's another one that I've repurposed from the surprisingly good late-2018 additions to the original Old Norse lessons videos (I say "surprisingly good" from my perspective because videos can start seeming old a few months after they're posted).

Publicly posted videos since I last made one of these posts have included:
· Luck in Old Norse
· A video about the dead witch casting spells of protection on her son in the lesser-known Eddic poem Grógaldr. I made this in response to the possibility that Anne Hathaway was talking about me (she's in the movie Witches, which is the tie-in), but if she was I guess I'll never know.
· Fostering among the Norse
· A video talking about the Old Swedish lines I translated for Grimfrost's movie Fated
· The public posting of Old Norse class 15, sik/sér, minn/þinn, mikill/lítill
· Veterans' issues in sagas

Also, if you're interested in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, don't miss this interview with me and Narrative Director Darby McDevitt!

I hope you're all doing well out there, and thank you once again for another week of your generous support.

All the best,

Jackson Crawford

Love the birds, my mother was a big bird person and would’ve loved those.

I really appreciate you posting this refresher! Also, the way you put the original video together, on numbers, was perfect for note taking and made a great study guide for me to refer back to while I was organizing my chapters in old Norse numbers. Thank you.
