Patreon Vocabulary 3: The Written Word (Patreon)
Content
In this one, following on this week's video about how scholars read and edit Old Norse manuscripts [Youtube] [Vimeo], as well as the video I posted Saturday of our great crowdcast conversation with runologist Henrik Williams [Youtube] [Vimeo], I talk about the Old Norse vocabulary for reading and writing, and how that differs if you're talking about the Roman alphabet or the runic alphabet.
I have made and will continue to be making some really "heavy" Wednesday video offerings this year, but I'll be balancing that out more henceforth with some more non-Norse-themed videos on Saturdays just to have a chance to talk about other things that interest me. But I recall that many of you like dinosaurs at least (and Mossbrucker too).
All the best for now, and thank you as always for your tremendous contribution to my well-being and to public education,
Jackson Crawford
