Kindle readers: The Wanderer's Hávamál is now available on Kindle! And most other digital readers as well.

In this week's videos, I discussed the (in)famous story of Vǫlsi ( [Youtube] [Vimeo] ), a walking horse phallus, and I posted my annual retrospective ( [Youtube] [Vimeo] ).

As you might have noticed, I've started uploading videos not only to my Youtube channel but to a new Vimeo channel as well. Don't take this as any kind of statement on a specific policy or policies of Youtube's, but I just don't trust them very much and worry about not having a backup channel if something happens to Youtube or to my channel there.

Not everything has been backed up to Vimeo yet, as the process is time-intensive and I have a weekly upload limit there. But so far there are a few favorites, a few very small videos (because I could squeeze them in after most of a week's limit was passed), and the most recent ones.

Also, don't forget to register (free) for our next Patreon-exclusive Crowdcast interview with Indo-Europeanist Dr. Tony Yates on Thursday!

And yes, I did begin the new decade by feeding buffalo

I hope your new year is off to a memorable and rewarding start. As always, thank you for your support and your phenomenal kindness.

All the best in the 2020s,

Jackson Crawford

What a great experience, lucky you! I know of a lady who raises buffalo and the young ones follow her wherever she goes. They are magnificent creatures... All the very best for 2020, Dr. Crawford, as well as for all your new endeavors. I strongly believe that if you do the right thing, you will be looked after.
