Thank you. This is one of the main reasons why I stopped pursuing a traditional academic career, along with the rather unhealthy competitive environment it seems to engender. I often wonder what this means for the fate of the institutions in the long run, especially with the emergence of crowdfunded, masterless scholar-berserkers such as you and I.
