All across Patreon, it's #thankyoupatrons day so I made a short video to express my gratitude for all that your support has meant to me.

I'll also be periodically popping by on Discord (and I will take questions and small translation requests like on a livechat). If you don't manage to catch me there, or still need a Discord invite, or just want to send a message, feel free to email admin@jacksonwcrawford.com and it will get to me.

Thank you very much for your support!

Is there a specific place you would like to receive listeners questions ? I will put these here for now, but would be happy to post questions at a better spot if pointed in the right direction. 1. I noticed you have not said anything on Tolkein and his conection to old Norse and Icelandic . Would you ? I specially find it funny that all the dwarfs + Gandalf are taken straight out of Gylfaginning. (Chapter 14 I think) 2. Would you please explain "Bósa saga ok Herrauðs". Not the graphic dirty parts, but the meta. What is it ? Is it the pornography of it's time, is there a point to all the sex ? Is it trying to tell the reader something and I'm just not seeing it for all the sex ? Or is it just an excuse to made rude metaphors ?

Hi there! As far as questions go, there are a few options: the Community section, where the entire Patreon community can give their input on questions or posts (along with Dr. Crawford), or you're always welcome to send them via Patreon message or email at admin@jacksonwcrawford.com. As far as the saga question goes, I'll probably leave that to Dr. Crawford, as I'm less familiar with that one, but he has answered the Tolkien query in this past community post: https://www.patreon.com/posts/possible-video-18157180 , and he does give the "Catalog of the Dwarves" from Vǫluspá that Snorri mentions in Gylfaginning a shoutout in this video: https://youtu.be/vwG5u4a_aq8?t=173 Hopefully that's at least a bit helpful to you for now, and thanks for joining us on Patreon!
