I always love your reactions! I think Johnny's business "Rose Video" was a national chain of video rental stores -- in this fictional universe, he was Blockbuster, so to speak, and it must have been hugely successful for them to be as rich as they were, with the kids hanging out with international celebrities. Moira's fame as a an actress in daytime soaps may also have boosted their lifestyle, though it seems to be a while since her peak fame. I looked up the "raisin in champagne" trick. Apparently there's a tip going around that dropping a raisin into a bottle of flat champagne will create bubbles. But it doesn't really work, because air bubbles aren't the same as the original fizz we expect from champagne.

seeing moira slowly become more motherly was just lovely - and hilarious! she is trying and that's a huge step for her. omg the way bob "runs" up the desk with his arms like flailing like that never ceases to make me laugh. i love the comedy his character brings to the show.

One of my favorite running jokes in this show is the Schitt family names: Roland Schitt (Roll in shit) Josslyn Schitt (Jostle in shit) And Mutt Schitt, pretty self-explanatory lmao. And I think they said Roland's great grandfather on the sign of the town was named Horace Schitt (Horse shit) LOL.
