Wyatt is a sketchy and arrogant dude, but I actually like him with Callie. It's nice. I agree - I think Brandon is just jealous, but it's more annoying because he's acting very possessive of Callie and he's really only known her for a short while. They also rushed the Brandon/Callie thing in my opinion, by having him say that to her in this episode, so they needed to walk it back by having her forgive Wyatt. The Lena/Stef and the Jesus/Lexi plotline was actually super interesting to me because of the kind of conversations they were having. I think it's important in a teen drama.

Lena really is the queen of this show. I love her so much! Also, I loved seeing Jude and Mariana bond in this episode, I feel like it helped Mariana's character a lot after the last few episodes were less favorable to her... also, I agree with Chamari White-Mink. I don't like Wyatt, but i like him with Callie - do not care about Brandon or his possessiveness at all.

jude really humanizes mariana a lot! the first episodes it was hard to connect with her, but the moment she was like "you want me to do yours too?" and the way she was so sweet with him.......it was just lovely

i really adore lena in this show. she's portrayed as being the more "gentle" parent of the two but still makes sure they are all in check and doesn't just let things slide. too often people think that in order to be a tough parent you have to forgo being nurturing and that you kind of have to be a bully. the portrayl of lena shows you can still be gentle and nurturing but also tough and keep everyone in line. i adore her character so, so much!! oh goodness wyatt lol he's kind of a handful at first. it took me quite a bit to warm up to him, especially considering some of his antics. but i do like him with callie and i think they're a good match. brandon gets on my last and final nerve sometimes - as much as i do love him. like this episode for example. he only just met callie and already acts like he has a claim on her? it's so possessive and he needs to take like twenty steps back - especially considering what is at stake for her if things go south with all this. he always kind of puts his feelings for her above even her herself and it always aggrivates me. jesus really is out here acting like he's grown.....he's still such a baby and they're already in some serious adult issues. it makes me wonder if, with brandon always doing his music thing and kind of keeping to himself, jesus kind of sees himself as the man of the house. he kind of has that attitude at times. sometimes it can be a good thing - when he's protective and looks after his loved ones. but other times it makes me think he thinks he's older than his years and thus gets him into hot water. he needs to take some steps back and just be fifteen. i was sooo close to tearing up when conner had painted his nails to match!! he's such a good kid and it's really heartfelt. i didn't really blame him for not stepping in in that moment. he was a kid too and just kind of froze, scared and unsure of what to do in that situation. but him doing his nails to match showed such soldiarity and was just very nice to see. my heart kind of went out to mariana this episode. she really wants a friend/boyfriend/connection with someone. her twin, who was like her best friend, and her actual best friend, she feels as though she's lost them completely. she's trying so hard to fit in and find people she can share a connection with. seeing her try so hard, my heart went out to her. and i thought her poem was just so lovely. it may not have been deep or gritty like the artsier ones, but it had heart and was so sweet
