This is a good one to watch for Veteran's Day. There was a deleted scene in an earlier episode that shows Starbuck trying to convince the president to go back for them but she and Adama told her no. That would have helped with this episode a bit. It's not just that he may already be dead, she knows they aren't going back and he can't survive on that planet. Kat has a lot of respect for Starbuck. She was so hard on her because she hated seeing her that way. You can see how happy she is when Starbuck acknowledges her.

The interesting thing about the previouslies for this show is that they’ll add cut content and assume you get the gist of it. Every so often I watch and go, wait- that never aired! But the idea is that it happened whether that audience saw it or not. There are 20 episodes this season. I’m so excited about how close we are to the finale. Yay!

Oh I should add that there’s an unspoken assumption that Scar is the same raider that Starbucks killed to fly back to the fleet in the previous season. (With the tape on the wings so Lee would know it was her.)
