Probably too late for you to see this, but yes what they said in the episode is more or less correct. Unlike men whose bodies make sperm, women are born with all of the eggs they’ll ever have. They lose one every month after they start having periods so by the time they’re 30, many of them are gone. It’s actually against the advice of most doctors to attempt to have children after 40 just because by then, the odds of having complications with childbirth go through the roof. Anyway, great reaction to a pretty awesome episode!
