Primus

Great reaction as always. Jaime and Winston (Link and Do MINI c - in case you missed that mini is short for his name) do a fantastic job with these characters, you'll definitely see more of them this season. The slow build to Dominic's identity is amazing. Just as awesome as introduction of Elias in season 1. Mini was smart this episode as you figured out, especially with Shaw. Meaning that he read her that she was a killer and badass and didn't try anything cause he knew that he wouldn't succeed in his condition. Dominic's philosophy is also very interesting. He is not worried about tomorrow he is a crime lord like Elias but has an almost opposite philosophy. The case of the week was ok. The Malcolm kid was decent however made some bad decisions and we are definitely left wandering if he's learned anything this episode. Great reaction as always. Until next time...

Ghost Mom

I was so worried when you looked up Winston Duke to confirm he was M'baku in Black Panther that you were going to see the name 'Dominic' in the acting credits for POI, lol. And while Dominic isn't remotely close to my favorites I can't agree enough on your comment about how the show handles its villains, or how it handles morality in general. Take a look at #Team Machine for example. If we consider it's two original members as Nathan Ingram and Harold Finch and the fact that Harold had helper monkeys before Reese, it's interesting to note that every single current member of the team aside from the founding member, could once be considered a villian/enemy/antagonistic force. Reese: Worked for the murderers within the CIA, and for a tiny period of time acted as an antagonistic force against Finch and Mr. Dillinger. Fusco: Originally in HR, tried to kill Reese. Carter: Carter may have been the only member on the team aside from Finch who didn't have ties to criminals or murderers/assassins, but in the very early episodes she was still considered an antagonistic force trying to lock up Reese and even worked with agent snow for short period of time, getting Reese shot. Root: Originally operated as a Mercenary; Framing people and killing them for money. Kidnapped Finch with intent on Freeing the Machine for what were originally selfish reasons, and had no Qualms about trying to kill Reese. Bear: Even the dog was acquired from a group as evil guys who was using him as a killer/attack dog. Yes Bear is the bestest of boys, but it's interesting that even the dog was introduced as an antagonistic force to our team. (even if it was just for a minute) Shaw: While she may not have ever openly worked against the interests of team machine, she still shot Reese the first time she met him, her moral code didn't exist, and she worked for one of the primary villains (the government/Team Research. She also is the one who killed Mr. Dillinger, one of Finches original helper monkeys. Even Elias, who was originally introduced as the shows first primary over arching villain, has now been shown to be working with Team Machine. Perhaps not to the same extent as the others, but I guess my point is that I find it really cool, how every character aside from Finch could once be considered an antagonistic force for Finch and the Machine. It's one of my favorite themes for the show. The whole spectrum of morality grey rather than black and white and the fact that people have the capacity for change and good.

Elias

I really, really love this episode. The ending gives me goosebumps everytime. Thanks for your reaction. :)
