I can't wait to see this reaction but I'll say in advance that I don't care if I'm in the minority but that last moment with Shane really solidified him as one of the greatest characters of the series. That twist really made me finally go from liking TWD to loving it! It was the game changer. If Shane never does what he does, no one ever finds Sophia... so people may hate his methods but it was needed for this episode and I love that we've seen what this zombies Apocalypse have done to Shane. Those last (probably) 10 minutes was television greatness and so well acted. I just can't wait to see the reaction this this and the after thoughts.

A lot of people hate Shane and while I don't agree with somethings, he is a realist, and he was right to kill the walkers in the barn. I don't like Dale, the fact that he took the guns and was gonna get rid of them was just stupidity. Shane should have slapped him upside his head. As for the baby, it is Shane's. Rick asked her how long she knew she was pregnant and she wouldn't answer him, because she knows its not his.

Round of applause on your anaysis breakdown of the episode at the end of the video and you pretty much had everything on point especially on the sentence, "I don't think it gets any better than Shane. Right now, in the now Shane is by far the best thing that happened to this show." .... for me I was literally walking through the motions of this TWD show but Shane's character is just intriguing even though at times he's untrustworthy and aggressive, I can't imagine me truly appreciation and loving the show without his character. Shane character balances out Rick's and that's why it works and also he was built for a world like this.

While watching it, I was anti-Shane because he was so unstable that, outside of Carl, I didn't know who he would suddenly turn against. Years later, I appreciate his stance on this issue, and what he did was the dirty, real thing that needed to be done given the state of this world. It's a scary, cruel world, so you gotta be scary and cruel to face it. This was by far my favorite episode of TWD up to this point. It's where the show let it be known that they will gut punch you if they want to, and I appreciate shows that are not afraid to do that.

Anyway glad you liked the episode but cant wait for you to see the next few episodes. This was a good episode and the Sophia reveal gave me goosebumps. I'm enjoying all the friction between characters but I think we could have gotten to this point in half the time, we spent 5-6 episodes looking for Sophia where hardly anything else happens. Outside of that, this had a good pay off.

Everyone talks about all the tough decisions that need to be made and I don't like Shane but he has good points sometimes. Rick is the only one that could pull the trigger in the end while everyone froze after all their shooting and big talk even Shane. Yes we found Sophia but that was also a reason the group had not been kicked out yet. Hershal said when Carl got better and they found Sophia they had to leave. Shane in my opinion doesn't make a good leader because in the end he is all about protecting himself, Lori and Carl. Screw anyone else that gets in the way.

While everyone here is defending Shane for this, I just want to point this out that since Otis put the Walkers in the barn, then if Shane didn't kill Otis they would have found out that Sophia was in their a while ago. Its his fault they stayed here as long as they did. Also he put people in danger by doing it his way as opposed to a better way. I think people look at him as strong but when it really counts, like shooting Sophia, he doesn't do it. Nor did he kill Dale when Dale pissed him off the most. He is more of a Talker then actually doing stuff.
