Oliver didn’t have a reason to go after Elena. She has nothing to do with his mission. She didn’t “fail the city”. And also he doesn’t voluntarily kill people. He incapacitates them.

This was the first episode where I found myself on Laurel's side and against Oliver. When Tommy made Ollie aware of his future dinner plans with Laurel I expected Oliver to have a different reaction than "if you hurt her I'll snap your neck". Like... what? Oliver you did so much emotional damage to her she is in no way "yours" to say something like that even if it's "jokingly" to your best friend. As far as I'm concerned it's OVER between Oliver and Laurel so Oliver's little joke makes me think otherwise in regards to his intentions. Jealousy I understand, but he cheated on Laurel and got her sister killed; shut the fuck up and let Tommy have his date with Laurel.
