Some Trivia... Major Winters actually took the Luger from the German officer. He made a comment that he checked the gun and it had never been fired. And has never been fired since. The point system was basically given per jump, for each month served, and each metal. Or something like that. Also, if you had children at home that was also a contributing factor to you being eligible to going home. That encounter actually happened between Captain Sobel and Major Winters. Sobel refused to salute Winters and Winters put him in his place. Some extra stuff about Webster that they didn't really include that they should have to develop his character. He was purely in the 101st as an "observer". Not officially, but he made himself out to be just someone there going through the motions.. Intellectually just documenting and observing everything going on. He never volunteered for anything, turned down every single possible promotion. He was basically there to write a book. And he did. Malarkey was the most recent Easy Company soldier to die. There's only 1 left of the Band of Brothers last I checked.

Here's the speech from Henry V mentioned in the final interview. Kenneth Branagh as Henry: We few, we happy few. We band of brothers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-yZNMWFqvM

This was a great end to a great miniseries! I can't thank you enough for doing a reaction to it. History shows are severely underrated when it comes to reactions which is such a shame. I have a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's in Library and Information Sciences. If you thought watching it was bad, I had to read it with detailed descriptions! It was actually worse reading it than it was watching it. There are many history related tv series and documentaries that are done so well and deserve reactions but get none. I am looking forward to your reaction to the Pacific. I actually have not seen that one yet. Thanks again!
