You'd cry too if one of your homies turned out to be a fembot and tried to kill you

So they had stopped the episode flashes for a handful of episodes but they came back for whatever dumb reason 5 episodes in. That said, I’d say if you want to avoid it without accidentally skipping too far ahead, there is that constant fast drum beat during the whole thing. You could turn your head or look at your phone until that drum beat stops and the episode begins. It only lasts maybe 10 seconds. But that’s the only way I can think to avoid seeing it without trying to skip ahead too far, as skip intro (if that’s an option here) would end after the credits not after the scene flashes (or whatever they’re called... flash forwards?) This was one of my favorite episodes thus far as far as how it progressed the story. So much new information. Tying up some loose ends. It felt like the end of a chapter. I loved it. I gave it a 9, personally. Can’t wait for what’s to come! Love the reactions and I love this show!

The importance of the intro is mostly about how the number of survivors changes every episode. It gives you an interesting reference as to how the human race is faring. Otherwise, to sort of vaguely answer your question about Boomer/Sharon- You're asking the right questions. Let's see how it goes as the series goes on.

This show is so good and I would recommend at least watching the opening credits just to check on the dwindling number for the human race--like many have said before. It just adds another layer of desperation to an already intense human drama
