I LOVE THIS MOVIE

Really hoping that we get a Hot Fuzz & The World's End follow up reactions with this!

If you ever get the chance in your free time, the British tv show Spaced is the same team who wrote, directed, and star this film. It was while making one of the Spaced episodes that the first idea of making a zombie movie came up. Also possibly a bit of a random suggestion for a film to react to, but I always loved the 80s dark comedy The Burbs.

LOVE this movie but you should watch Hot Fuzz next! Same actors, same type of feel of a movie, but a different story/plot. My favorite of the Simon Pegg trilogy

I love Hot Fuzz and I would love to see a reaction to it :)

So you might have gotten this, but Shaun of the Dead is not a serious movie. It’s making fun of movies like Dawn of the Dead and isn’t really meant to be scary (sort of like the American movie “Scary Movie). I can understand not getting the humor if your not accustomed to British humor which is more “dry” and cerebral compared to the same idea of movie in the states which falls back on more slap stick type comedy. I definitely like it, but it’s not for everyone. Also when the movie came out there were promos so we all knew it was a comedy where I’m not sure you got that memo lol. Anyway, great reaction. I love your honesty!!

personally, i think you wouldve had to watch SPACED first to fully enjoy the film. I vote you watch it, especially if you liked Shaun and Ed’s friendship.

Not 100% sure what you mean by 'unfazed', but that's pretty much how people talk. 😀

I found this film a bit too bleak when I first saw it, but enjoyed it more when I re-watched it recently (and again now!). But yes, Hot Fuzz is a bit/a lot more fun, in my opinion. One of my favourite films.
