Real Supernatural conventions are a thing of beauty. There are some amazing stories told by the cast and crew that have been posted on YouTube. Just beware of spoilers. But these guys are really gracious to the fans spending a lot of time just answering questions and meeting people. It's one of the reasons the community has been so loyal for so long.

Two amazing, fun, meta-episodes in a row!! I don't know how early the Supernatural conventions started, but I have watched YouTube clips of cons in 2008, 2009. The only thing this episode didn't get right about them is that the majority of attendees appeared to be ladies, not dudes LOL...I agree, I liked how fake Dean gave real Dean some perspective on his life. And yeah, the boys need bungees for their weapons. I'm gonna lose it if this actually happens in a future episode!

I haven’t been to a convention… It is the dream. They are international, several a year and they are specifically Supernatural, not part of some other bigger convention. Jenson, Jared and Misha are always there (except that time Jared was arrested and another time when he was experiencing some emotional distress) and then so so many past and current cast. All the favorites. They have sing-alongs, Rob Benedict (Chuck) is actually part of a band and they play there, Jenson is a good singer as well, Richard Speight (Gabriel/Trickster) seems to play host often. One day…

The conventions are amazing, I finally get to go to one in August, and I couldn't be more stoked. They're even continuing the conventions into 2021, well beyond the shows ending, the fan base is just that loyal :) P.S. I cannot wait for you to do the next episode, I think it's my favorite one of this season.

Are there SPN conventions. 😏 There are hundreds of videos from conventions. It’s a wonderful world. Careful of some that spoil future story lines. Or just stay with the ones with Jensen singing.

Supernatural conventions are awesome. They’ve been doing dedicated SPN conventions for 13 years. In addition to the actors doing panels, you generally have Richard Speight (Trickster/Gabriel) co-hosting with Rob Benedict (Prophet Chuck) who also fronts the house and Louden Swain. There is a great concert on Saturday night. As Janet said, you should at least watch a few of Jensen singing. They’re quick to watch and we can point you to the favorites. If you have not watched any convention videos, there are some classic behind the scenes stories you should watch, especially about the bees in Bugs episode, the snake in Yellow Fever, makeup on the pillow, and the train story (well that last one isn’t behind the scenes bit is hilarious). Those are non-spoilers stories for you, based on where you are at on the show. I can corral them for you, if you are interested, to make sure you don’t accidentally click on a spoiler.
