Yay!!! I love this movie so much! I love seeing so many of the best scenes from the first movie being brought back into this second one as they're either expanded on, or seen through another's viewpoint. And I love that Biff once again ran into the same manure truck for a second time days later. Brilliant! All of the actors are so good in these movies. From Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, to Lea Thompson and Crispin Glover as George McFly, who is only in the first movie, aside from clips of him taken from the first movie and brought into the second and third movie too. Interesting and sad fact... Crispin Glover didn't want to return in the second and third movies, so Steven Spielberg and the writers had to improvise and use clips from the first movie, and unused film footage from the first movie in order to fit George McFly into these movies as much as they were able to. Even the actor playing George in the future, wasn't the same actor. Unfortunately, Crispin Glover was angry with Spielberg and everyone else for using his footage in the second and third movies without his permission. It's too bad. Because I really love George McFly and I would have liked to have seen him more than we did. But for as much as we did see of him, I was happy and it was so much fun! Also, in regards to your one little nitpick about Marty using the walkie talkie while in Biff's backseat... they were able to write this in because Biff isn't a smart guy by any means. As we saw... any time he thought he heard the noise from Marty speaking over the walkie, Biff kept adjusting the radio and never once thought to look in the backseat. Biff is an idiot, which we see in a number of circumstances all throughout these movies. So for me... I think Marty on the walkie works just fine and it evens adds more hilarity to Biff's character. If there's any tiny nitpick that I have... it would be that old Biff from the future was able to figure out how to work the time machine to be able to travel back to 1955, especially because he is such an idiot. Biff probably would have been able to figure out how to fly and drive the DeLorean, given that he's no doubt flown other cars. However, he wouldn't have known about the flux capacitor, that the time machine requires the driver to drive up to 88 miles per hour, that he would have needed to collect garbage for the refuel in order to get himself back to 1955 again, and he wouldn't have known how to figure out how the time circuits on the dashboard work. But I love these movies so much... that I can easily look past all this. I love all the details added to the events throughout the first movie and seeing Marty have to work out new problems that keep arising, especially when he has to stop Biff's thugs from knocking out his other self up on the stage singing and playing Johnny Be Good. That was so great! Hilarious and fantastic! Overall... such a good movie in its entirety! Thank you very much! I can't wait for you to react to Back to the Future Part III!!!

Just started watching your reaction, but I'm already excited to dive into this classic. I haven't seen this trilogy in years, but have big time nostalgia. I hope you're enjoying reacting to it. Haha, yeah, wow, I didn't know there were people who haven't seen this, but then again, I haven't seen some stuff everyone else seems to have seen, like Game of Thrones. Not seen a single episode. Thanks for the reaction!

Jayna

*I JUST realized (I'm slow like this) that you also reacted to the original/first movie. I should go back and watch that reaction before watching this one. That's the plan anyway. lol But again, thank you for the reactions! Great fun to watch new reactions, and a new reactor to get a different take on things. Plus, it's just enjoyable to relive fun movies and shows with someone who is experiencing them for the first time. Keep up the awesome work.

10/21/2015: Back To The Future day. I definitely watched all three movies on that day!!

Scarlett Monrow

If you haven't seen it, please consider watching "Clue". Another 1985 classic, a great comedy featuring Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown).

Aimee

The continuity in this trilogy has yet to be matched. It's a classic for very good reason. Love getting to see you react to this for the first time.

Little bit of trivia--one of the boys playing the arcade game in the Cafe 80s is Elijah Wood.

DJ Doena

Yeah me too, we had a special cinema event and a few friends and I watched the trilogy with the special Christoper Lloyd introduction.

Fun fact: Needles is played by Flea, member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. You can watch him in a Carpool Karaoke with James Corden video from a few years ago.

BTW @David: Did you notice that the actress of Jennifer was not the one from the first movie? They even re-shot the opening sequence for this.

The left one to be precise. Another fact about that café for people not as old as I am. The Michael Jackson / Ronald Reagan / Ayatollah Khomeni screens with the stutter were a homage to another "not so distant future" television series by the name of "Max Headroom". Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cVDrhljZBE

Aimee

Oh, yeah, I know Max Headroom. I’m 38. 😉

Aimee

That’s a family favorite of ours. We quote it regularly in everyday conversations. 😆

DJ Doena

As for the after-ending. The original movie came out in 1985. Then the sequels were shot back-to-back in 1989. That's why they could show preview scenes from the third movie right at the end.

And now that you've seen part two and you were in 2015, here's a special message from Christopher Lloyd from actual 2015: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwL0HZSc2Sc

I hadn’t watched this in a while. I used to watch it a lot when I was younger with my mom and still watched it periodically over the years. Man. It’s still so good. I’m so glad you enjoyed it 🤗. Can’t wait to watch the next one with you.

Oh man Max headroom... the tech is a bit dated, but that's another series that actually holds up really well. (And does deserve a respectful remake)
