I was surprised to learn that the actor who plays Hailey is like 20-21, when she’s supposed to be mid twenties.

Seth didn’t really choose Anna, she just showed up and he just went with it because that’s what he does. I mean, I like Seth, but when I watch this show now he seems more flawed and weak to me and less cute and charming than he did when I watched this as a teen. He doesn’t really make the tough choices, they are made for him, but that’s how it usually goes for the “nice guy” or “nice girl” in stories. I hope you continue with this show.
