Yay!!!! What a fabulous episode!!! I love it!! Thank you so much for another great reaction! Hook is phenomenal in this episode. And he's finally begun to get his revenge against Rumplestiltskin by hurting the woman he loves, like Rumple killed Hook's love. However, I love that Hook also spared Belle's life rather than actually killing her, which he could have done easily. I was surprised by that honestly, and it shows that Hook also isn't completely heartless. Rumple killed his love. So by all means, Hook could have killed Belle in return, but he didn't. And I love this about Hook. Now... she no longer remembers Rumple or her fairytale life. She's cursed all over again. Poor Belle, and poor Rumple. Also... poor Hook because first he was beaten up quite badly by Gold, and then he was hit by a car. Yikes! And by the way... this ending was a complete shock when Hook came out of nowhere as he shot Belle, as was the car appearing too. I love it!!!! As for the close up on the license plate... it was only meant to show us the car and driver were from out of town... from Pennsylvania. That is why this episode is titled, The Outsider. You weren't meant to recognize the plate. When I first saw this episode, I kept trying to think of all kinds of theories that would explain why we were supposed to recognize this plate, until it finally dawned on me why it was really shown. Although... "The Outsider" is also a parallel reference to Belle in the backstory as well, which is also interesting. Whether or not we know who has arrived in Storybrooke... you'll find out soon. There's much more to come. Next... I love the scenes between the Charmings as they struggle with deciding what they should do about staying in Storybrooke and finding a new place to live, or trying to find a way to return home to the Enchanted Forest because most people still see it as their home. I understand David's and the dwarfs' yearning to return to the Enchanted Forest, as well as Mary Margaret's and Emma's yearning to stay in Storybrooke. I can understand both perspectives, so which is their real home? I also felt so badly for Henry as he grieved for Archie even though he wasn't actually dead. They didn't know that and Henry was so broken. And it really hurt Emma because she couldn't comfort him. But I love that she gave Pongo to him before they discovered Archie was alive. It was so great for her because she knew how much Henry loved Archie, and Pongo too. I know the writers don't really do a good job in past episodes of showing how much Henry loves Pongo, but I appreciate their attempt to show so in this episode. As for Henry's line... "I knew it!" in regards to finding out that Regina was innocent all along... I agree with you that it was kind of ridiculous and most definitely out of place, since he was busy making blue plans for an armory so they can arm themselves against Regina seconds earlier. I too wish that had been left out. As for the backstory... I really enjoy Belle's story with meeting Mulan and her saving Phillip from his curse cast on him by Maleficent. I love seeing Belle make new friends outside of those within Storybrooke and it is a testament to her character. It shows how good of a person she really is, as well as how smart she is. Belle isn't a warrior, but she didn't fight this Yaoguai. Plus... Mulan is always good to see too, especially when she fights as the warrior she is. I love that she also actually spoke of her experience with fighting in the Emperor's Army, in China. And I also love that this episode showed her first meeting with Phillip too. Also... the beginning was very sad with everyone having a funeral for Archie, especially the brief moment with Marco saying goodbye to his friend. I'm just so glad they didn't drag this storyline out. But later seeing Henry and Archie hug when they see he's alive was so sweet. And now they finally know it was Cora who took him and framed Regina. Yay!!! Back to Hook again... I love the scenes between him and Belle aboard his ship too, just before Gold arrives. I love how Hook reveals the truth to Belle about how Milah really died. And I absolutely love how he talks with her, in such a soft, seductive manner. It's eerie, terrifying, and it just makes me love Hook all that much more. :) And at last... we finally get the first confrontation between Hook and Gold again, which is brilliant! It's been a long time coming for them both. :) I love how Hook taunts Gold, as he kept telling Gold to kill him in order to try to prove to Belle her love was still a monster. This shows that Hook is absolutely no coward and sadly, he doesn't care if he dies so long as he gets his revenge in doing so. He just wants Gold to lose everything. And he almost succeeded, and would have were it not for Belle. Yet he still didn't kill Belle in the end like he could have. I agree with you that Hook is a phenomenal villain for this final scene in this episode when he shoots Belle, but he isn't completely heartless either. It is an even crueler fate to let Belle live without her memories so that Gold has lost her. Overall... I love, love, love this episode!!! It's fabulous! Oh... and Smee's now a rat too. Nice twist. I can't wait for your next reaction! Thank you again, so much! I truly do appreciate all your efforts despite your struggles with computer issues. I am continuing to love watching this show with you all over again. So thank you! Until next time...

By the way... I absolutely love your reaction to Hook suddenly appearing as he shoots Belle in the back of her shoulder and forces her across the town line. You nearly jumped out of your chair. So priceless! You even suspected Hook would make an appearance and yet you were shocked anyways. Fabulous! I'm so happy you love Hook as a villain, because so do I. :) Thank you again!

One of the things I love most about Hook is that he knows that he can’t easily kill Rumple/Gold, or at the very least beat him, one on one. He knows just how powerful Rumple is and never underestimates him. He’s very clever with his approach to getting his revenge on The Dark One, One of, if not the most powerful beings in ‘all the realms’. Hooks just a normal, human pirate, The fact that he can enact ANY revenge on the dark one is quite impressive. Takes a very smart, resourceful, and determined person to get one over on someone as insanely smart and powerful as Rumple/Gold/The Dark One! I think I made what I was trying to say a little more complicated I intended it to be, but regardless I hope I got my point across! LOL 😅🤷🏼‍♀️❤️

Your reaction to the ending was probably my favorite moment up to date. When I was 10 or 11ish I probably would have proclaimed that I knew it just like Henry did. It was ridiculous because of course he didn't but very kid like. He wanted Jiminy not to be dead and Regina not to be a murderer so when that was the case he took credit. At least thats how I see it. Can't wait to catch up the rest of the way!
