First time I saw this I didn't think it was more than a 5 because of the creatures but since then I see it more like a 9 because I focused on the story more. On tech it's a 5 on emotional response it's a 9.

This is probably one of my favourites of the season. :) Rose definitely acted a bit dumb in certain situations, but it really gave her character depth, and helped grow hers and the doctors' relationship even more. It was also sweet how the things she was telling her dad were the things she'd hoped he'd be (reading her stories every night etc). If I remember correctly this was the episode that cemented my love for these characters and the show in general. I'd defintely go 9/10 as well.

My father died when I was a child and this episode messed me up when I first saw it. It was a long time before I could watch it again. I love Rose, but this episode made me angry with her, as well.
