Most of today was working on the underlayment. Not a lot of exciting stuff to show for it, but we got a LOT done.

First, we finished the under blouse by using an awl to work holes between the fibers in the back and hammered eyelets in which took so so long. Then we were finally able to lace them up!

Next, we moved on to the puffy pants. We started by using a combination of flat patterning and draping to pattern the panels. Then, we began the looooong process of gathering yards upon yards of tule to sew onto the lining on the pants. This will be what causes out panty to poof!

The last thing I did this evening was cut out the pieces for the outside of the pants and the pockets. Again, it doesn't sound like a lot, but it was all time consuming.
