Technically, before I started Gorou's sashes, I needed to finish the waist band and zipper of the pants. Because of his weird hip holes, I had to sew just the parts of the waist band over the hip holes into tubes. It was a little complicated, but it worked! After adding in the zipper, I moves on yo draping the sashes

I have a very little amount of my teal fabric that I custom dyed, so I had to first make sure I had enough fabric for all of his bits. After draping all the little strips needed to make every bit of teal on his pants, i laid it out on the teal fabric the most efficient way I could then cut it all out. Luckily, it was mostly a bunch of rectangles, so it was pretty easy to puzzle them together.

From there, I just had to sew them all again, this time out of the correct fabric, sew the sashes together, and make the tall back of the hakama pants.

I probably could have spent the time to research how to properly make hakama pants, but Girou's pants aren't historically accurate anyway and I'm running short on time to finish this cosplay, so I covered a piece of craft foam with the Pant fabric sewed on the teal layers, sewed on snaps, and called it a day.

Things are getting a little chaotic in my Katsu crunch scramble, but I'll try my best to keep yall updated as I work.

Next, I'll be moving onto the ropes around his waist, so look forward to another update about that soon!

As always, if yall have any questions!
