SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG. I wanted to finish all 4 of the panels before posting my write up

So the first thing I had to do was draw the pattern, filling in the blanks between what is visible on his model and making it all fit my Pant pattern. After that, I traced the design onto tracing paper and labeled all of the colors. I traced the design again onto the adhesive side of Wonder Under (iron on fabric adhesive). By cutting each chunk out of the same piece of Wonder Under, I knew for sure the pieces would fit together perfectly. Once cut from the Wonder Under, ai ironed the pieces to their respective fabrics according to the labeled drawing, cut them out again, peeled off the backing, laid all of the pieces down on the panel I was working on, and then CAREFULLY ironed them on.

This is an extremely time consuming process and needs to be done VERY carefully. The result can either be very clean or very messy. After the flat colors were ironed on, I repeated the process with the gold boarders.

The design is NOT symmetric on both legs, so when I moved to the second leg, I had to cut up and shift the pattern the best I could to match Gorou's model.

The final step was top stitching the gold down so that nothing peels up. This is ALSO time consuming and can either look very clean or very nasty. It's all abou6 patience!
