Took a break from Gorou's pants today to pattern out his sleeve! I started with two simplicity patterns, one for the sleeve shape and one for the chest. I sewed together basically half a jacket, turned it inside out, and pinched and pinned out a bit from the side and back side seams to better fit my body. Once the piece fit the contours of my body well, I sketched out the shape of the chest part of Gorou's sleeve. Finally, I cut a few inches off the sleeve, put some temporary elastic in the bottom, and stuffed it with some tulle to make sure I'm happy with the overall shape.

The final piece is going to need a lining that is a bit smaller to create a space to stuff the tulle so it doesn't fall out or scratch me up. I still have to pattern out the designs on the sleeve designs and dip dye the gradient onto the final fabric. I'll probably finish the shorts before I move onto the final sleeve.

As always, if you have any question, let me know in the comments!
