HEY you guys remember the new rendition of my Red Clover Dragons I started working on last summer? I never shared an update on it again, but I actually kept working on it in the background!

The feathered version is almost done, meanwhile the pure scaled version still needs proper rendering of scales, wings and tail and especially the shading still needs a lot of work. I had a rough background for it prepared but I was NOT happy with it. It looked too artificial. I just wanted to get it DONE but tbh, when I have the muse and motivation for it again, I will sit on the background and take my SWEET TIME until it looks right. I want there to be a certain sense of realism to it, maybe I'll even use one of my photos and draw over them, do a bit of mixed media and photo-manipulation.

If all works out well, I'd like this to become an illustration in a future Gardendragons book. More precisely, the updated guidebook. The updated version is also supposed to feature dragon eggs, which I have already designed but NOT properly drawn yet. That's on my to-do list as well, but with Comms, Comics and short videos, it often lands lower on my list than other projects.
