November was wild and scary, but has ultimately become the best month of the year, watching Mal recover. Now we take a look at how the year will end, and I'm pretty happy about it! Should be a few great things in December and beyond.

Hi Stephen, I think this is the first time I'm commenting on your posts. I'm happy that Mal is recovering very well. I look forward to the Florida vlogs. (Speaking of, my family and I were planning to visit family in Orlando this year. Of course, the pandemic happened and we still want to be cautious. Also, it's a very long flight from Guam, where we live.) I hope to catch some of your special livestreams this month. I may get Big Brain Academy for me and my family. I remember playing the DS game, the sound effects sound familiar. And looking forward to Colosseum as usual. I don't think I could take off to catch all three days, but I should be able to catch the first day. Happy Holidays to you, Mal, and Kep!

Hi Stephen, I think you're smart for being selective about sponsorships. I'm sure there's some temptation to take less-than-ideal ones given the financial situation. I just wanted to encourage you to stick to your guns! I've been turned off of other creators' content because they end up making 10 minute videos and allow their sponsors to monopolize 2-3 minutes of that short time...I get that YouTube is volatile and sponsors are necessary, but when 25% of a video is someone trying to sell you on SquareSpace, the videos stop being enjoyable really fast. Unless of course the sponsorship is with Tom Nook who insists upon giving you a loan in bells...I will watch hours of sponsored content of you negotiating a loan with Tom Nook. Hahaha.

I’m sorry you didn’t get to visit family this year, ErkLing! Sincerely hoping that works out for you next year. We’ve been really grateful that Mal’s family is only a few hour drive away now, instead of the 18-hour drive to Wisconsin. Colo is coming quickly and we’re super excited. Hard to believe it’s less than 60 days away!

You’ll be happy to know I’ve chatted with a few companies in December but haven’t found a good match yet—it’s very much a “stick to your guns” thing for me. I have a very specific way I want to do things (because I also watch online media, and I hate terrible sponsor integration), so I’m waiting until the right company comes along. We’ll get there!
