Blog: First Access (Patreon)

In the early stages of setting up my Patreon, I wanted to balance the ability to post a lot of exciting content for my patrons while still managing to create free content for non-patrons like Tumblr and Daily Diapers. While my priority was obviously going to be my patrons - it was the support of my audience on those platforms that gave me the ability to even have a Patreon, and I didn't want to ignore that.

So finally, after a few months of working on new stories for my patrons, I feel like I'm at a place where I can devote more time to things like commissions and content that will be publicly available.

And so introducing First Access. These stories and posts will be tagged in the title with [First Access], and again, they'll be available to all patrons at all tiers.

First Access content will be an assortment of content. Today I posted "What Mommy Says," which is not so much a story but a series of short ideas and thoughts. And while there may be more posts like that in the future (especially if you like posts like that), there will also be shorter self-contained stories and multi-chapter stories.

Ultimately, this is an opportunity to not only give all my patrons even more to read (especially my Tier 1 patrons), but it's a chance to help grow our community here by potentially bringing in more readers.
