Yesss Sofie I recommend you read the canon buffy comics seasons 8-12. If you don’t want to review each comic issue at a time, you could do a review per season. Once you start reading it goes by fast, it takes a few hours to read each season.

I'd be really happy with you reacting to Firefly. It was such a great show. Also it would be cool if you started to reacting to some animes. There are some that have seemingly endless seasons if that is what you are into, and there are ones that wrap up their story in a season or two if you want to knock out some quick ones.

I'm here to suggest some (non fantasy) shows to replace the Whedonverse (after Firefly and, hopefully, Dollhouse 💓) • Succession (best show since Buffy imho) • Sharp objects (only 8 episodes, Amy Adams is a goddess) • American crime story (anthology series - so darn good) • My so-called life (one of Joss's inspirations for Buffy) • Six feet under (I think everyone knows this is a classic) • I may destroy you (at its best, rivals Buffy in terms of thematic and emotional resonance) Not ready for Buffy to end though 🥲

If we're recommending new shows, I think Sophie would absolutely love "Chuck," starring Zachary Levi. It has a very similar vibe to Buffy, only replace the fantasy/supernatural setting with a spy/action setting. Seems like the most logical option, I don't have many ideas in the same genre and tone. Maybe the OG Gossip Girl, or the older Veronica Mars.
