Yes, Jamie is fantastic and all the actors work so well with him it is unusual to get so many good scenes with children!

That last scene gets me EVERY DAMN TIME! Cuz you just know that Keith still loves Dan. No matter what, Keith loved Dan. He may have hated him for certain things. But at the end of the day Dan was his little brother and he couldn't help but love him. The dog eating Dan's heart will never not be hilarious. And the scene where Lucas tells Nathan too and they both laugh, but then you can see it really hit Nathan. That hurts. And the fact that Lucas KNOWS this is different for Nathan than for him and doesn't say anything. The scene at Tric was hilarious. The Lucas and Skills moment is just one of my favourites. What I LOVE about Julian is that he loves Sam as well as Brooke. And he doesn't just love her as "Oh, she comes with Brooke so I love her too." No. He loves Sam as her own person and not just an extension of Brooke. He said to Lucas that he was losing TWO great girls. He adores her. I just love it because when you get in a relationship with someone who has a kid, you HAVE to accept that their kid is part of the package. You can't just see them as your partners kid, you have to see them as someone you care about and like. (My Mum broke up with her ex, years ago, because she wanted them to go on a holiday somewhere abroad just the two of them and my Mum knew then that it couldn't go anywhere because she didn't fully accept me and my brother as part of the deal...) Like, Sam full on feels comfortable talking to Julian about things and opening up to him. They have their own relationship. And that is just so important.

Now that the movie is over, it makes sense that Julian has to leave because there aren’t many opportunities for movie producers in small-town North Carolina. He might have tried to figure something more out with Brooke if she were willing to make a commitment to him rather than just wanting to “have fun” again. I think that Julian has the right to want a commitment to continue just like Brooke did before she freaked out and wanted to just “have fun” again. But I love how he is understanding about it with Brooke.

LOL When that ending song started playing I couldn't stop picturing TVD as well lol "I was feeling epic!" Stefan definitely went out like a legend he is...The pain lmao

Lucas

Yea by the way she reacted Brooke made it into a casual relationship that was incidental to the movie being made and Julian being there....If they were both onboard to something real and committed things might have been different in Julian's mind but Brooke just wasn't ready

Sophie, Ryan Reynolds is a primarily a RomCom actor who also played Deadpool in the movie with the same name which is a spoof on Superhero movies! The director of the movie is played by James Van Der Beek who played Dawson ( a want-to-be director who was a much better character) on another teen drama Dawson's Creek!

That last scene with Jamie…man, it broke my heart. The innocence of a child who just wants everyone he loves, even a grand uncle he’s never met but loves through stories, to be happy and alive and together.
