Peaches

By far one of my very favorite episode.

miah.sun

Yes I love how this episode can be left up for interpretation!

W.C.

The movie in the background is a famous Christmas movie called "Its a Wonderful Life". Like this One Tree Hill episode showing Lucas how much of an impact he had on his loved ones lives, that movie did the same. It was basically to parallel what was going on in the Tree Hill universe. This along with the previous episode are my favorites of the series and for once, the black and white logo at the beginning wasn't bad lol.

Haha it was so funny how confused you were throughout the episode. Just for a little context: this episode is based off of the classic Christmas film, It's A Wonderful Life, about a businessman who attempts suicide and gets visited by an angel that shows him what he thinks he wants to see - life without him and how that affects those closest to him. That's the film that was playing at the hospital. They decided to do that with Lucas which I really loved. It not only solidifies Lucas as the main character, a thing we often forget, but it also solidifies him as a good person. Luke is a character that constantly gets dragged through the mud by fans of the show, and in my opinion, they needed this episode to show that Luke is a good person. That's why I love this episode so much. 1. We get to see Keith again and we get to see him interact with Lucas. I loved that Keith was his guide as Lucas was fighting to stay alive. 2. This episode makes it canon that Lucas Scott has had a positive impact on everyone's lives and everyone would be worse off without him. Call him a bad boyfriend, or whatever (although I wouldn't even call him that) but he's always been a good friend who cares about the people around him and would do anything for them. 3. Alternate reality episodes are literally my favorite trope in television. One Tree Hill did one back in Season 2,but this is definitely my favorite one.

I Am Not Chamari

And yes, Lucas' middle name is Eugene. I think Karen has said it once or twice in earlier seasons.

Mira

i just love how they directed this episode and the previous one, this whole episode was a dream that happens within seconds, while the paramedics rescue Lucas on the street. It's insane how impactful it is.

Mcc

Yes, This episode is so powerful. For me i believe that your late loved ones could visit you in your dreams and have you straighten up.

Oh Sofie if you haven't seen "It's a wonderful life" you have to watch it, it's one of the most beautiful movie ever made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDcVycz0OHM

Maria

What is your schedule for watching shows, by the way? On what days can we expect TVD episodes and Buffyverse episodes? :)

Savannah

She doesn't have a specific schedule, but usually we can expect a good chunk of episodes every week. Most of the time on the weekends.

Patpet

It's a typical christmas movie, it's a tradition in most countries to watch it every Christmas. It's a masterpiece, it's a Frank Capra movie, beautiful, tender, adorable, an evergreen classic.

Clara Gros-Louis

This episode is tainted for me with M*rk Schw*nn putting himself in scenes with Hilarie, ugh, makes me wanna barf :(

SamTheMars

This episode is kind of confusing, however I like it mostly because you can interpret in you way. You could see it as ghost Keith coming to give Lukas advice or just a dream that Lukas has :)
