To be honest it feels like the next episode is more like the first episode of season 5 than the final episode of season 4.

I've always seen the next one as an epilogue to season 4, but that works too.

The next episode is one of the best episodes of the entire series. There are a lot of "one of the best episodes" so this isn't really a spoiler. Season 5 has so many amazing episodes, having a favorite that isn't in 5 is saying something.

Now when we go back to the last episode where Riley walked out we realize that it was because Adam activated him rather than him necessarily being upset about Forrest. Stuff like that is why I enjoy the writing in the BtVSU so much.

"Spike reminds me of damon" I've watched TVD and yes, i believe Damon was written similarly to spike, and Stefan similar to angel (quieter, emotionally intense towards 1 woman, and the literally whole other personality with angelus/ripper
