i dont think klaus loves caroline. its more of an obsession of him trying to prove himself to her that he is still good.

stressbean

Caroline deserved it what compelled her to even agitate an angry Klaus. Did she really think that was the right way to do things. Same with Tyler just cuz they have him trapped doesnt mean that he is somehow powerless and less of a threat. Dont blame klaus if i just watched my family sister or parents die in front of me damm well no one gonna stop me from lashing out like that girl i care about or not.

This was the episode that stopped any sort of interest I had in Klaroline. If it wasn't for Tyler's idea to force Klaus to watch her die Caroline would have been dead by now. I know some people will want to argue with me and I get it, but for me, there was no excusing what he did in this episode. Tyler did what he asked and yet Klaus almost killed the woman he's supposedly "in love" with.

Idun V

Was it stupid to agitate Klaus? Yes. But she did NOT 'deserve' it, Klaus has done the same to her friends and worse.

Sofie you should react/watch episodes 14 and 15 together. They go well together. Trust me on this and stuff gets even more interesting. I’m so excited and nervous to watch this with you.

Andrea Dcosta

The lore and mythology in the show is insane and season 4 tops that for sure. The need for Bonnie the hunters curse Silas the cure everything works perfectly well. I’m sure Damon didn’t mean what he said he does care for Bonnie Shane got under his skin and well then Damon acted out. What an amazing episode things are getting super intense.

Idun V

The difference is that they all show deep regret for the bad things they do, Klaus doesn't EDIT: Well, this looks weird when the comment I answered to is gone.

I believe that the relationship between Damon and vampirism is more complex than appear to be. Contrary to Stefan, he doesn’t have problems controlling his vampire side, his problems are feelings that overpower him in a manner that are just as incontrollable as Stefan’s blood lust. He said he missed to be human, because the pain he feels when things get rough for him is overwhelming, “there is just so much a man can take” and I think he secretly still do, but as usual Damon don’t like show his real feelings to anybody. At the moment he is a situation where every single person he knows is telling him that his relationship with Elena is, not real, that as soon as Elena will go back to be human she will go back to be with Stefan, that he is wrong for her, that her feelings are due to the sire bond, and a part from Elena that is an unreliable source in his mind, there isn’t one single person that is backing him. No one. Of course he feels insecure. And when Elena asked him to take the cure with her, his response was due to insecurity rather that what he really feels. What is the point in exposing himself to hurt and disappointment by saying yes I’ll take the cure and live happily ever after with you, if he doesn’t know what the future holds? So he answer bitterly instead, to cut a conversation that hurts him short “ I used to want to be human but now I can’t think of anything more miserable then that”, saying that by giving his shoulder to Elena, not looking at her in the face, because is a hurt bitter answer, not the truth.

Didi

I think he also feels like human Elena will leave him because when she was human she choose Stefan, and then minutes later she died and turned into a vampire. Weeks later they discover a sire bond, and Elena breaks up with Stefan, I can clearly see how that would mess with Damon's head.

I'm glad that Stefan wants to take the cure for himself and that has nothing to do with Elena. He should move on with his life and focus on himself. Rebekah too. You seen her as a villan because she is the reason Elena died, But looking at things from her prospective, she isn't wrong at all. Shane makes Katherine looks an amateur, when it comes to manipulating people, he is a master. He planned everything so accuratelly. I love this season plot is so interesting and dark. They are seriously good at giving the viewer little pieces that one by one will make eventually perfect sense.

So if elena and squad kill finn and kol to protect themselves, that's cool, but if rebekah kills alaric (and in the process she had to kill elena), to protect herself and her family, that's not cool? I hate how elena paints rebekah as a villain...both did what they had to do,to survive, no ones a villain there, its just survival of the fittest

Gokul

Those 2 episodes are definitely supposed to be watched together, but im pretty sure that she is done recording those episodes already...reactors are usually 2-4 eps ahead of patreon

Gokul

Especially season 4! The council fire, the hunters, The expression magic, and the cure, all fit perfectly, I also recently rewatched season 6, and I agree with you, its as good as this season

I personally don't feel like Klaus was 'in love' with Caroline. I think he just fancies her and cares for her. While Klaus is in complete blame for how he hurt Caroline in that scene, why does Tyler and her (along with everyone in this friend circle/main characters) think it's smart to keep poking at him? He's a dangerous hybrid that can't be killed. You honestly think he's going to sit back and let it happen if they're constantly provoking him. They don't think he'll retaliate?? And then they blame him for doing so. These characters don't stand a chance against him. Just let him be!

Patpet

Klaus was in grief and he acted by lashing out to punish Tyler that was rubbing his nose, to get revenge. But Klaus lashing out is dangerous and comes with incontrollable rage. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong, ( I'm on Tyler, Caroline side) the problem is Klaus is a psychopath capable of incredible charm and charisma, as any psychopath, but you don't go and provoke the most powerful creature on earth that just witness the killing of his brother and aspect to get away with it.

I Am Not Chamari

If you really think about it, Damon has really been one of the only people watching out for Bonnie in the past few episodes. Sure, he’s suspicious of Shane and wants to eliminate him, but I didn’t believe him for a second when he said he doesn’t care about Bonnie.

Libby

@Gokul I personally think Elena is justified in her hate but i don't really see Elena trying to paint herself as better than Rebecca. For the record Rebecca DIDN'T have to do what she did to save her family from dying. They all had the plan Elijah layed out where they all gang up on Evilaric and take the weapon that is the only thing that can kill them. They had a plan to keep The Originals safe and they would have kept that promise because they don't want the sire lines to all die. Elijah said he and Rebecca could run another 60 years. After Klaus was staked she called off the deal because she "didn't want to run anymore"

Y’all. The next episode. Are we prepared? 😩

Keith Engel

I always loved the Stefan, Rebekah, and Klaus dynamic. I only wish that they had more time together.

Keith Engel

Elena actually isn't that bad of a vampire, she learned from Damon how to control the feed.

Keith Engel

Klaus gained one trait from his non biological father, the same stubborn Pride that Mikael had, and it takes a lot for him to swallow that pride at times, as he cared more about it at times than anything else.

Keith Engel

Damon's reaction to being asked about taking the cures is related to the reason he became a vampire as well. He became one to be with Katherine because he loved her and he thought she loved him, but instead she didn't and she betrayed him in two ways. First, not being in the tomb in the first place, and second by saying she only loved Stefan. This also comes back the concept of change, I'm not Stefan, Stop trying to change me into him! He changed/turned so he could be with Katherine, then Stefan forced him to change, because he needed his big brother, when the only reason he wanted to change was to be with Katherine, but she was "dead." Now Elena is asking the same question of him, only in reverse, I love you and become a human with me. Yet, in the back of his mind, the trauma of what Katherine did to him, everyone going on about Stefan, and even Elena's own words and Katherine, it's always gong to be Stefan. He believed in love before, but got betrayed by his brother, by his father, and by Katherine, when he decided he wanted to be a vampire due to love. So her asking him to change, e.g. take the cure and become human is a deep personal trigger for him and hence his reaction. There is so much involved in that question, is he willing to take that risk and change again for love, like he did when he became a vampire in the first place? It's not something he can just easily answer right on the spot. As he said, he didn't want speculate about the cure right now. I mean think about how big of leap that would take again, for him to change back for the same reasons he became a vampire. So it boils down also to a question of trust, who does he trust, no one is actually supporting him in his relationship with Elena, and no one is really supporting Elena either, with how many people keep going on about Stefan. Also, he placed his trust in love and in some one before, were did that get him?

Loved By You

I love sooo much that Stefan is finally choosing to do things for himself. Good for him, I love to see that. Everyone else in this show gets to be selfish, and he should too. Shane is sketchy and can’t be trusted. Also, 4x15 is some of Nina Dobrev’s best acting she’s ever done lol
