The humanity switch. Klaus compelled him to switch it off, he never compelled him to keep it switch off or not to switch it on again. Stefan can do it, if he wants to switch it back again, but the problem is that they don't feel emotions, therefore they don't care about anything, they have no remorse about consequences. So they have to have a strong motivation to switch it back again. Damon in season one didn't have his humanity completely off, he was on dimmer switch, which is a stage in between, they feel but they get focus on something, in Damon case was getting Katherine back, and don't care about anything that is inconvenient.

Things between Damon and Elena are getting heated.🔥🔥🔥Ian and Nina chemistry is off the chart. That scene "I do whatever you want me to do" was a nearly kiss, Elena was so going towards his lips, like a magnet. And she was jealous, she doesn't realize her feeling for Damon are getting stronger by the minute. That doesn't mean that she stopped loving Stefan but Damon is very much in the picture she is drawn to him, she relies on him, she trust him, she is undeniably attracted to him.

I really understand Matt in this situation. Vicki, whatever she was, was his sister. And from that it is more bitter that Vicky even from the other world deceives her brother and tries to spoil the life of others. I'm glad Matt was able to make the right decision and let his sister go, even though it was hard for him. I like the twist with the ghosts. Mason! I was surprised and delighted when I saw him, even though he had beaten Damon. You'll love it. What I like about this show is that just because a character has died doesn't mean we won't see him again. In General, it seems to me that Mason's character was not fully revealed. By the way, have you noticed what kind of economic Damon?😆 Someone has clearly broken into his house and is destroying it (even if it is Stefan). Instead of trying to figure out what's going on, he starts cleaning up the pieces. 😆Of course it's about time, Damon.

Yes, to turn on humanity, a vampire needs a strong push, a trigger. I think Damon didn't have a disabled humanity in the first season. After all, when a vampire turns off his humanity, he doesn't care about anything, even those he loves. Damon, on the other hand, was obsessed with Katherine, angry at this city that had taken his love from him, angry at his brother (and anger is also an emotion that shows that he cares). Hence the violent behavior at the beginning of the show. But we saw that he had feelings for Katherine, he showed emotions towards Stefan, he cared about Elena. Stefan, on the other hand, behaves very differently. Nothing bothers him, nothing angers him. He does everything for his own pleasure, following Klaus ' orders to protect Elena. I love how Damon is protecting Elena for his brother's michievious behavious and keeps his brother's actions within them only, he doesn't like to wash his brother's dirty linen in pubblic. I'm still thinking about Elena's birthday when Damon opened his house to a bunch of student....for them to trash his precious persian rugs...😂that to me was a seriuos sign of love, he can't even stand Stefan trashing HIS house.....😂

Btw elena didn't die in the sacrifice,her soul was intact like John said..that's why she is not seeing ghosts,and Matt is able to see Vicki because Vicki also has help from the other side

There's a bit of a mix-up with the ghosts. Jeremy started seeing them because Bonnie brought him back with the magic of the dead witches. They had warned her that there would be consequences. Because you need a balance. If a person has died, then it is impossible to bring him back to life without consequences. Matt wasn't quite dead then. Rather, he experienced clinical death. And it was Bonnie who brought him back to life in a very ordinary way - artificial respiration and other resuscitation actions. Why did Matt start seeing ghosts? Even assuming Vicki was helping him. After all, a lot of people get into this situation, there is no magic here.

Lovely reaction Sofie. You’re gonna love the next episode sooo much. Lovely scenes coming your way!! I love the way Damon calls Elena Buffy. Damon is soo hilarious he’s got some of the best lines and the way he says them makes it even funnier. I’m with you I hate Vicky as well but I feel soo bad for Matt. I really like him from season 3. I lovee your Delena reactions their soo fun and hilarious too. Can’t wait for the next one it’s one of my absolute favourite TVD episodes 😍

Everytime I rewatch this series (probably 30 times by now), I notice more stuff. Like in that hot Delena scene, when Elena turns back around to face Damon, she's looking right at his lips and I swear she leaned in like an inch (as if she was going for a kiss), before stopping herself
