Hi. I watched some of your Buffy reaction vids on YouTube, and joined to see the full vids. There's a problem with the image/sound synchronization on this one. The image freezes at 16:48 and stays there while the sound continues. Everything is off after that.

At the beginning is a bit like a comic book, everything exaggerated but later it will get much more serious. She is born a slayer but....you will learn more. Even in this show that at this stage is not much reality based, there are going to be some very interesting metaphors. This is the setting of a squad, every each one with their own skills that will help Buffy to defeat the enemies they will have to defeat. Angel....the mystery guy 😁 It is not TVD, but it is the base on which every show in the genre, have to compare to. Be patient you'll like it too.

Oh trust me the beginning is so cheesy, but it gets so much more serious later on. Trust me this show seems lighthearted but it’s an emotional rollercoaster, much like TVD and you’re going to notice some parallels eventually. Also vampires in this universe don’t have a sexy face like TVD unfortunately, not as pretty to look at 😂 They’re not necessarily meant to be liked. The mythology of it all isn’t over either and theres a lot more to the story of the Slayer and vampires that you’ll find really interesting. Can’t wait for you to continue this journey!

I've never seen this show, I tried watching it before butt I just couldn't seem to get into it. I remember it being super 'campy'. I'm going to give it another shot though.

It's just a different style because it's so old, but it really does grow on you after a while. I may be biased though because I love anything to do with vampires. It's very "monster of the week" at first but it gets more serious and once you get to know the characters and the main plot it's hard not to get hooked.

From what I read vampires were dead people called revenants, from French, and could be dead witches, suicide victims, generally evil people or a human possessed by a lesser demon. They were supposed to feed off the life essence of humans. The modern one is like pale and cold but that’s not much good for a TV show so you have film stars or ugly face monsters. So in general no they aren’t demons. The seem to get involved in helping demons too. Why not .. if you’re evil and dead, helping a demon might be a smart move... lol

Ok I had to add. Your face when that girl hit Del for deliver was amazing. I re watched that at least 10 times, ok maybe 5 but I was having way too much fun. There were a couple of other bits too. Amazing. I am having a blast watching these. You should get royalties! Love it!
