This episode is a 10, the first one, of many others 10's. Damon and Stefan in a suit and a mask are so iconic and so breath taking, but in this episodes, all of them are a wow, Katherine, Caroline and Bonnie, so gorgeous. One particular mention to Jeremy, He is gowning up and becoming more handsome by the minute. Tyler is a werewolf now....poor Tyler. May I say something that is contrary to popular opinions. Ok Tyler first season was an insufferable bully, but he had his reasons....now I like him, I feel sorry for him. Everything about this episode is fantastic, the plot, the setting, the fight with Katherine, the twists, and that sight, Damon sight at the end, closing a chapter of his life, oh my!!! It is pretty obvious that Katherine plan is still a mystery, that will be explained in the next episodes that are going to be so incredibly important for the entire show, one episode after the other, boom!! And next episode....OMG, next episode, I can't wait for you to see it....that scene!! It so much fun to watch the show with you Sofie, you are so good!!!💗

Omg you have reached the best part of season 2 and the entire show the next episode is soo good. This episode is one of my favourites of the show. Yes Damon and Stefan in masks and suits just too hot. The girls rocked too. Now Tyler is a werewolf I so wana see how u feel about his character now going forward. In season 2 he is one of my favs. That Damon/Katherine/ Stefan fight scene is soo good. Yes Bonnie/ Jeremy that was sudden haha. I just can’t wait for you to watch the next episode and a scene in particular which we all are waiting for 🙈 And everything about Katherine, her plans etc will be out soon. With this show they reveal everything in time so don’t worry. Just can’t wait for the next one specially to see your reactions to certain things!!

Jeremy got on my nerves tryna be a hero. They should've made him stay home because the fact that he wasn't there threw Elena off. Katherine's outfit was everything!!!! The hair! The mask!! The dress!! She didn't come to play at all. Alaric said he wasn't going to let Elena out of his sight. He for sure didn't hold up to that promise. It wouldn't have made sense for the Katherine to die now. We don't know the full scope of her plan, and you don't just intro a character like her and kill her off. No pay off would come from that.

Katherine is one of my favorite characters (hence my profile picture lol) and it's fascinating to watch Nina play her. So much has happened but trust me this is JUST the beginning. the episode I realized how much I loved Nina Dobrev playing Katherine. This was the episodes the writers loved too. They were so fascinated from Nina playing her on set cuz they couldn't believe how nina can play Elena the sensitive good girl to Katherine the manipulated sneaky bitch lmfao

I shipped stefan and Elena when I started but I ship damon and Elena because of the dance but NINA AND PAUL, I love every time they do a scene together in the series, like Nina as Katherine with Paul's character, like they make me ship Katherine and stefan all the time

I love the episodes where everyone acts as a United team. Everyone was on top today. Bonnie, Jeremy, Alaric, Stefan, Damon, and even Caroline. I'm really excited about Caroline. She needs to become an actress. So to play Katherine! And how she knocked Matt out. I'm ready to review it a hundred times. And Katherine! For the thousandth time I repeat that I really admire Nina. Katherine was amazing. Seductive, dangerous, captivating and frighteningly insidious. The Salvatore brothers in these suits and weapons were... I can't even find the words. I'm ready to watch this forever. Their fight with Katherine was truly exciting. And Katherine is right, Damon is actually hotter and more confident when compared to flashbacks. And I think this is due to her. There's something about Damon's behavior from Katherine. He took a lot from her, I think. Sofie, I really like your reactions and thoughts! The next episode will be very chic. I can't wait!

Yes, but the fact that Elena did go to this ball, in the end, saved her life. If she had stayed at home and the brothers had been able to kill Katherine or more seriously injure her, what would have happened to Elena? And Jeremy clearly wasn't playing the hero in this episode. His job was to deliver a message to Katherine and help Bonnie prepare the room. He did nothing superfluous and did not interfere with anyone. It is surrounded by a witch, werewolfs and vampires (one of which dates his sister, and the second one killed him). Besides, Jenna got hurt because of Katherine. What, is he supposed to pretend that nothing is happening and live a normal teenage life? Of course, he can't stay away from it. And the fact that Alaric stayed with Elena, and not Jeremy, was made for the plot. So that Elena would end up going to this ball. Just like the non-death Katherine. I love Katherine and I'm glad she's alive. But then the whole plot of the episode is reduced to zero. They came up with such an elaborate plan to kill her. Got into it with Bonnie and Caroline. Damon insisted on this with all the fervor, fearing that Stefan would change his mind. And in the end, when she was lying helpless in front of them and there was no easier way to kill her, they suddenly changed their minds. And I understand that it's too early to kill Katherine and she's needed for further plot development. And she's also a very bright character. But this was done somehow illogically in my opinion. As well as the fact that Alaric was left to watch Elena and couldn't do it well. But otherwise, Elena might have been in trouble.

I know why he was there. I'm just saying he shouldn't actively try to put himself in danger like he's invincible. He's a teenaged human boy. No need to walk around like you're the protector because he's not. It doesn't make sense.

I always find the scene between Katherine and Jeremy really creepy. Katherine pretending to be Elena, but not quite managing it and then semi-flirting with Jeremy. It's almost as twisted as an episode of Game of Thrones. Ew... Yes the show are pushing Bonnie and Jeremy as a couple. But Jeremy looked fine in that suit and he's only a few months younger than Bonnie. I think they were going to kill Katherine as they felt that was their best option. However, Lucy was clearly in on helping get rid of Katherine and I think they decided that it was crueller to Katherine to lock her up for eternity instead of kill her. With the help of an experienced and powerful witch like Lucy, they could put the original tomb spell back. Bonnie isn't strong enough to do it, but Lucy is. The irony with Damon is that he was the only one who had been trying to save Katherine from the tomb, but in the end, he was the one who intentionally put her inside the tomb. It was very cathartic. There was obviously a reason Katherine wanted Elena alive. She's on the run and wants a werewolf, the moonstone and the doppelganger. If she's trying to break the curse, what has the doppelganger got to do with it? All of the men (except Ric) in this episode looked really hot and the girls looked amazing (except Elena and Jenna, for obvious reasons). The clothes, hair and make-up is great in this episode.
