Man, this is hard. Save Felicia or get Natasha and MJ? Damn this tough.

Spooney Bard

Contest Month: Hard one to gauge, the game had several variant endings and this tried to nail down every thread in the darkest route. So much plot occurs that most of the pairings are underutilized. Personally I don't like the hero goes evil story (especially with villains who could appear) but the symbiote influence makes it work better (especially since MJ has been off this NC dock for a while). If craziness is what the voter wants then this will be very satisfying. You won't be able to predict the ending or diagram the plot easily either. Too Much Win: Sym Felicia working over MJ, obliterating her clothing in one fell swoop and then working her over was great. Symfuta impregnation sadly didn't happen, in fact there were many egg penetrations but only one symbiote cock for red. Love that long tongue and the bite to resist. Sweet Lesbian Hands-Webbed Shirt Rip: Some great rough stuff, Felicia's tongue also working Pete great. Wolverenom hovering, plotting, spreading and groping were all awesome. From the opening relief session with Nat it seemed he was going to fulfill a nasty gap but nope, it twas his only panel of railing. Luckily we got some pure bile from Felicia with several nasty taunts and feelings. Bit Too Much: There were six pairings (Wolv-Widow, Pete-MJ, MJ-Widow, Wolv-Fel, Widow-Fel, Pete-Widow-MJ) that were over in basically a panel. Wolverenom only has one panel of penetration, one imagines the ending scenes in the dark ending would have worked better than egg-shenanigans. Those panels as well as the action scene, coupled with MJ trying to reach Pete again, robbed the narrative of thrust. Why Not: With so much happening pairing down the scenes might have helped. Skip the opening Nat sex, especially since the afraid MJ didn't make sense. Have Pete have MJ trapped as Wolv and Widow work Felicia. Then the symbiote goes buck wild on the two of them until MJ hits the clamp on Pete. Then we would've gotten the rough stuff and still hit many of the emotional beats.

Ooh, evil! I pick evil! I can't turn down a pair of redheads.

even I read all the content, I still don't understand why the spider-man suit looks so weird. the new design of the suit is really bad design and no reason.(the evil ending of the video game, Spidey was totally bond with symbiote black suit, and the comic just the after story of the game, I don't see any reason to use that weird hybrid suit, especially the hybrid suit just like the normal costume instead of the alien suit) Also, the pairing in this comic is too much. I don't know, maybe some of the people love the lesbian sex, but I just fine about that.

Thank you for your personal opinion. I’m deeply sorry you didn’t understand and/or didn’t like the things you mentioned.

Any sequels incoming?

Never having played the game, I...don't really understand what's going on, and so I'm afraid I didn't really enjoy this one :(

General thoughts - I really liked it. Web of shadows offered a lot of fun premises, with the Symbioteinfected New York as a fun setting to play with - or just the idea of a symbiote apocaylpse; the desire to assimilate, to grow. The suit wasn't an issue for me; assume a deccent ammount of time has passed, for the resistance to plan and for the symbiote to fully work it's way deep into Peter. So him having a Spidey suit that uses the venom symbol is a sign of his heel turn, showing his pride and power of his leadership. I'd be curious for a follow up - Would be interesting to further explore the new regime - see other symbiote infected, etc. Also, neat that you squeezed in the egg/pregnancy thing as I know a few are into that but it might not be enough to warrent a full story. So having it as a side thing was cool. Oh yeah - and chose evil :D

I remember Web of Shadows, but it's been a while since I've played it. I definitely liked it and saw sexy potential to it, but, sadly, I think this comic missed the mark. It seems there's 2 types of porn parody. 1) We all know everyone's fucking off-panel/off-screen/between issues, so let's show that, and 2) What if, instead of fighting, the characters tried to settle their problems with fucking and raping and such. I prefer type 1, but this felt like type 2. Felicia's symbiote look here wasn't as hot as the one in the game, and even though I normally go for preggo, the addition of the monster elements and the egg-laying ruined it for me. The symbiote tongue with the green slime and the fangy blowjob also not really erotic to me. Black Widow and WolverVenom had potential. Would have been happy to see more of Nat's ass getting stretched by a monster cock, but I guess that's what MCU Nat/Hulk porn is for. But that bit of standing anal and the sloppy cum-all-over-her-ass-and-running-down-her-legs were the highlights of the comic for me, and the only parts I'm likely to revisit. Once Spidey and Black Cat caught MJ it could have been hot, but the biting off of Felicia's tongue and non-con pain of the attempted egg insertion just made it too violent for my liking. Had it been presented as a mixed pain/pleasure "No, don't, it's too big! Shit! Fuck! It's bigger than the time I let Jill fist me! It's bigger than Luke Cage! Is it all in yet?" I probably would have liked it better, and the same goes for when Peter stops it and goes to fuck MJ himself. Her "Please don't! Please stop! Aagh!" reaction, without any hints of pleasure, just makes it too much for me. I don't usually object to non-con, but it only works for me if it seems the girl starts to enjoy it, or at least isn't being violently hurt. The trap in MJ's pussy was a bit weird. It works within the context of the type 2 porn parody I described earlier, where everything is dealt with using sex, but otherwise seems off. Even the fisting wasn't really done in an erotic way. I did enjoy the cliffhanger, choose-your-path ending, but even there think the "save Black Cat" option should have been as sexy as the "fuck Nat/MJ" option. Without the text, judging by art alone, clearly everyone is gonna choose 2 hot redheads over fighting an ugly monster. So, in the end, too much monstery, violent stuff for my liking, not enough people actually enjoying sex.

One thing we can see from comments is that everyone basically preferred the dark ending, quite sadly it had two scenes better than the actual comic. By trying to appeal to everyone it strained the story. I remember commenting that I didn't even know who would be making love in this issue, and many liking this ambiguity. Despite being theoretically the very story I most promote I ended up voting for the story that came in forth out of five in that month's poll. However those who don't want harder stories, like Kyle R, weren't ever really going to be this issue's main audience. In trying to please everyone and holding back the dark we sort of got a series of events without feeling. Wolverenom, upon reflection, doesn't even pop his claws literally and figuratively. When he absconds with Felicia she's unconscious (throwing some sugar on this dish everywhere) even though we never even get to see a love scene. I'd say there are way more than two types of Scops comics. 1. Examination of foibles through sex (Tingling That Sense). 2. Action Comics with boning (Hornblower). 3. Comedic satire (Haptics Protocol). 4. Metatexts on pornography (Banjinjet) 5. Examinations of darkness often underplayed (Spider-Gwen 2). 6. Romantic discovery (Now Vogue). Now many stories cover a bit more than one of these main themes (Spidercest goes for them all) but what we got was a number 2 when a 5 was needed.

I assume this was based on a videogame I am unfamiliar with, which left me confused for much of the time I was reading. I can normally pick up what's up with context clues but I guess there was too much game lore to try and fit in a short comic. Not my favorite, but then I think this is more for fans of the game. I guess, being a hardcore gamer, I can't abandon my instinct to try and understand and min-max every single facet of a game before I feel I can really appreciate it.

Just another Monday

I enjoyed the good fucking & twisted logic of Sym-BC wanting Spidey & his babies. The savage fuck off was pure boner fuel, & the trap in MJ's pussy was clever. The ending- I'd choose the Evil route, let Venom/Wolverine have his lust fuck on cat, while letting Spidey take the 2 sexy redheads for new breeding stock! XD Art was choice, sex appeal was great, & story felt smooth. I give it a 9/10.

It definitely felt strange to see this comic finally see fruition, as it feels there has been discussion about it for almost a year (I was on a road trip last October, discussing it on the phone, so the memory certainly sticks out). First off, I really appreciate the use of setting in this one; expanding on an ending to a lesser-known Spidey game and adding up the sex factor inasmuch as you can within the framework. The story was actually really good, with MJ luring and trapping Peter with her sonic device and working fiercely to salvage Peter's good side. I love Sexgazer's style; the muted nighttime colors were great, and he handles monster characters like Wolverenom and "Black Queen" really well. The only complaint I have with it is some details feel inconsistent across several panels, most noticeably the given bust size for Nat and MJ. This is still a personal favorite for me; even though most of the sex wasn't my thing, the element of setting and character still won me over.
