Hello Adventurers!

It's been a frustrating month. There has been a bunch of work in the background towards Foundry v12, several failed experiments, bits of work that have yet to result in meaningful change, and some frustrating regressions.

That said, there have been good improvements for fans of high automation, with improved Chris Premades support. More features are now available for integration with the new improved 5e system, with damage rolls now parsed into rollables in monster descriptions.

Pathmuncher also received a small update but has increased reliability a fair bit.

Vecna: Eve of Ruin is releasing on DDB toward the end of May, and I expect it to be available for the adventure muncher in late May or early June.

DDB Importer

  • Several small language tweaks in the interface.

  • Spell parsing would create duplicate tables.

  • On character import update, name choice was not respected for the prototype token.

  • Fix for some touch spells not setting target correctly to 1 creature, e.g. Gift of Alacrity.

  • Thunder Gauntlets and Lighting Launcher now parse as weapons rather than features.

  • More icons from @kaelad

  • Override Item Config error in some niche circumstances.

  • Fix updating characters back to DDB for some actions such as Artificer Magical Tinkering and Rune Knight Runic Shield.

  • Thrown weapons importing with incorrect ability set.

  • Chris Premades fix for certain class builds.

  • Chris Premades monster parsing was not applying effects for all monster features.

  • Chris Premades Monster Feature integration now allows pulling features from MISC and Gambits premades.

  • Some effects, noteably Magic Weapon, would not remove the magic property from the weapon when the effect ended.

  • Bleak Cabal Void Soother fixes (thanks @Moto Moto )

  • Fix for simple distance calculations (thanks @Elwin )

  • Ensnaring Strike fixes from the wonderful @Elwin

  • Some improvements to the Eye Ray macro for Beholders, etc., include better description parsing for Ray attacks, handling multiple targets, and rolling damage to Disintegration.

  • Improvements to Guidance cantrip effect.

  • Draconic Resilience did not include bonus hp in effect due to recent ac effect fixes.

Yes, My group is just finishing our current campaign and want to run Vecna next. Hopefully it won't be long. Ive been looking for the prequel adventure "nest of the eldritch eye" for weeks now so not hopeful that the full campaign will be available anytime soon :-(

Greetings! My apologies in advance for the newbie question... I'm new to foundry and trying to get everything set up for automation using the muncher, but I can't seem to find the Convenient Effects module which appears to be a requirement. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
