This is for everyone, whether my patrons or other creator patrons or even creators themselves.

Today I received an email from patreon itself vis a vis the issue of payments that occurred last time, namely payments being flagged as fraud or declined because they were 'international' payments.

At this time I can confirm that Patreon IS now using the UK financial industry as it's processer of payments. The email does state however that:

'...some of your patrons may see a 3% international processing fee for their pledge, this is determined by their bank, not by patreon...'

Furthermore they advise that 'If they are seeing an international processing fee they can switch their pledge to a different bank that doesn't charge for international payments'

If your payments are declining it will take you off the patron rewards list for whoever you are pledged to, meaning that although it will show up as declined to us creators you won't be able to access content.
