You do know that the similarities are done intentional since they changed the story of the show from overcoming struggle through hardwork to being a reborn jesus. If they are not similar the reincarnet storyline wouldn't work.

Soooo what are you talking about? You are just stating the obvious but also during this arc Ashura isnt naturally blessed like Indra. He has to work hard for that power to awaken.

It's just the highest form of change in chakra shape it's not far fetched to think Ashura the son of the sage of six paths could have used it too. On the grand scheme of things, the Rasengan doesn't seem all that complex quite simple actually compared to any other jutsu . And add of the fact that you don't need to weave signs for it.

It's kind of difficult to judge the change in Indra's attitude since the scenes are all back to back and they age quickly through them. But Indra was still like 10 when zetsu first made him awaken his Sharingan and the scenes where he's first shown being strict he's already like mid-teens. Zetsu's been in his head for like a decade by the time he's all "law is law".

"Rasengan doesn't seem all that complex" aha. It's still a Rank A Jutsu and not many users can learn it because as Yamato once said it takes incredible skill and chakra control to use that Jutsu.
