Hello everyone! Last week I mentioned I had a fairly significant piece of news to share, and here it is. It may not look like much, but this signifies my move from DragonBones to Spine Pro for animation!

It's a move I've been wanting to make for a while, and I'm glad I finally did. Within just a few minutes, it became acutely apparent how much more intuitive and reliable Spine is, it's going to make future projects go so much more smoothly and with less frustration. The only thing I was worried about was getting all of my existing 2B animations imported (there's close to 40 of them!). It took a little tinkering, but I'm happy to say that I got all of them imported! There's a few differences in how the two apps handle mesh animations, so they'll need a little attention, but once that's done I can move onto quickly finishing off the few animations left to do.

Spine's Unity support is also much better, and better documented, so this development should really help with getting these animations in game as well. I'm one big step closer!

Thank you so much for supporting me so far, this upgrade wouldn't have happened without you!
