Alright! I got the new dynamic Game Over screen working! 

This video demonstrates two major functions of the new Game Over screen.   

1. The "Retry" button will reload the previous hacking level. 

2. The Game Over graphic can be different depending on which level was  failed.   

Both of these functions were previously hard-coded, and I would have needed a different Unity scene for each level. Now I can simply re-use  the same one which will make development a lot easier to manage!

This feature will be included in the next preview build, which I hope to have out by the end of February. With this major feature in place, between now and then I'd like to focus a little more on the visual development of the game, so those Game Over scenes are actually interesting to look at!

Speaking of visuals, I have some other kinda big news on the animation side of things but I'll wait until next week to reveal it!

Nier Automata Hacking Minigame in Unity 2D - Dynamic Game Over Screen

Working on a parody game of Nier Automata and I wanted to craft up a 2D version of the hacking minigame! It's also been a great way to learn more about Unity and C#.
