Neji would have won this fight if it wasn't for the 9 tails granting naruto some power, but hey at the end of the day, Naruto has always relied on the 9 tails. That boy isn't independent but has been dependent on kurama since birth. Whenever the going goes tough, kurama is always there for him, right by his side. On the other hand, Neji has always been more skilled than naruto, but naruto packs more explosive power thanks to kurama. That's the only reason Naruto won this fight, much to my distaste because I was personally rooting for Neji to win.

Man.. that is a ridiculous thing you just wrote. Naruto has a huge chakra reserve on his own and the majority of the times he "relied" on kurama it was not because of Naruto's own will. He used Kurama's chakra in this fight but ultimately Naruto outsmarted Neji especially since Neji underestimated Naruto. But sure if you want to use your logic against you since Naruto had Kurama in him since he was a kid how about your boy Kakashi? All of his major battles he relied on his Sharigan to win the fight.. hmm.. is Kakashi a Uchiha all of a sudden? No he simply used the tool that was provided to him. Did Naruto put the nine tales inside of himself when he was a baby? No he didnt either. How about Neji then didnt he always rely solely on his byakugan? I'm sure he did. I cant recall a single fight where Neji fought without his Byakugan. So your logic is severely flawed. Naruto's Sage training and his creation of the rasenshuriken was done completely without Kurama which by far surpasses any jutsu that Neji wields. When it comes to on the fly battle strategies very few excel more than Naruto.
