Welcome everyone to February's first dev update :)
First things first, we are happy to announce that Shey will be the next 3D printable figure, we already worked out a pose and are now working on the 3D files to prepare them for printing.
And now to the progress report:
Level:
Working on caves and cliffs located in the pillar region.
Continued to work on replacing the blockout of the Adûn region with the redesigned assets.
Created a new asset set for the houses of the lizard people in the Adûn region.
Code:
Improved the functionality of some Lua functions that were added last week.
Sex Minigame camera system has been improved by ironing out various movement jerks of the camera and UI elements.
Started some research into an animation sequence editor (most likely won’t make it into the next build).
Character:
Finished Professor Uruk’s model and textures. Outfit work for our NPC and factions is slowly but surely concluding the “must have'' so you may notice a bit less output in the future as we move more of our artists over to the level and environment department. Of course we will continue to make new outfits both for story and for sandbox. :)
Animations:
Max x Sexbot minigame done and implemented and now started working on animations for our twitter contest winners.
Continuing to transfer animations from mocap routine files to the other character skeletons.
Design:
Continued working on weapons, doing detailed design for weapon properties (damage, critical hits, speed, range, etc. as well as move sets for animation).
Defining differences between weapon types (spear, mace, blade, knife/claw, fist).
