Welcome to another dev update :)

UE5: Earlier this week we were solving compiler issues for the project, now that those are mostly out of the way our next step is to look at project loading issues and errors.

Level: The project-wide asset cleanup is now pretty much complete. On the art side of things we are now working on modeling out the Alpha Camp housing containers.

Code: NPCs can be spawned and saved in the sandbox editor now. We also worked on a bunch more smaller quality of life improvements for the sandbox editor.

Started working on per-animation sandbox camera control during sex scene possession.

Character: This week we rigged the blackwing model so we can begin animations for him soon. The hair rework is also making progress, the freelance artist will start to upgrade two more models this weekend.

Animations: While the Maya Locu minigame is still in progress we also started to focus on a few sandbox animations and ended up turning one of these into a small minigame too. Further we are working on a few hand-animated NPC routine animations for spear guards.

Design: We are working on the dating and romance dialogue for Koodie (one of the Lake Village NPCs) as well as overall story and lore information distribution between NPCs.

The Warrior Village outskirts and Umbar jungle mini location design was also a focus this week.

A thought just occurred to me when I read the part about romance dialog. I don't know if I just missed this before. Are all the contexts leading up to the minigames romance? For both Maya and Max regardless of who they are with? Or are some more along the sex-for-fun route too? The goatman gangbang doesn't seem like it is very intimate between lovers. XD

There is plenty of differently themed minigames, some between lovers, some more casual, and other stuff too. Each protagonist has their own set of minigames with dialogues and stories specifically designed for their character.

It could be great if you could put a "wild surprise sex" between characters like its already done in Breeders of Nephelym....

Yeah, not surprised you are having some issues with UE5. Even a long term vet of UE4 said, to him it's like working with UE from scratch again. And from what I have seen, a lot of the cool stuff found in UE5 is not available in default. You must turn it all on. Nice to see UE5 now supports trees with nanite and lumen. Wish you luck in getting it all to work. I'm sure it will look great when it does.

UE 5.1 supporting nanite foliage will also boost performance! I just saw some videos about 5.1 and I'm very excited to see these changes happening in the engine. Can't wait to see how much more realistic the lighting and textures are with it. Keep up the great work, I love that you're tackling this huge project with such passion!

you could use stable diffusion or ai art for inspiration
