New Ambiance for a Fresh Series of Videos (Patreon)

The Summer has not gone as I’ve expected so far. This is alright however, I welcome the change of pace.

The catalyst was an unplanned span of time where I was without my primary laptop for several weeks. I was not able to edit video, publish things in the wild, work on web-site stuff, or even draw with my tablet in Photoshop. My life as I know it came to a screaming halt.

While I was without my apparent life-staple, I decided to clean, organize and remodel my side of the lab so that I may shoot video content facing in the direction of my work-area. 

Up until this point, I’ve used my partner, Mark’s, bench as a backdrop because it has the best lighting. While it’s nice and all, the stacks of labeled bins and spools of stranded wire are not representative of me, the raptor who loves the color yellow, basking in light candies, and making robots from unusual shapes.

I made many trips to IKEA during this time to invest in curtains, lighting, and more lighting, in the interest of transforming my space into a neon color hug suitable for someone who enjoys living in their own cyberpunk dream world.

Everything is now either blue, or controllable with remote, as I think I switched out every lightbulb with the RGB LED variety =P

The results look wonderful and make me feel a thousand times more at home in my own home. I only wish I’d have thought to do this all sooner!

Now that I have my red fruit tabula back (and I must mention that I ended up getting an entirely new laptop once everything was said and done), I can get back to work on the things I was making before this happened. Like, designing Noodle’s new LEGS, BRAIN and now FEET!

Expect an influx of backlogged video. Also, I’ll be rebooting my Tasting Channel intros for this season of *new* noodle updates. I’m not sure if anyone knows or remembers what those are, but I think you’ll like them. They’re fairly absurd and involve Noodle.
