Hello lovely patrons!

I'm very excited because I'm going to be giving a live Zoom interview with the French Heritage Society this Wednesday 14th April at 1pm EST (7pm French time)

It would usually cost $15 to attend, but the lovely Natalie (who is also one the patrons of The Chateau Diaries!) has arranged for any of my patrons to attend for free. If you would like to do so, please email her at natalie@frenchheritagesociety.org

I look forward to seeing you there!

love, Stephanie x

Innovation in Action Series: Stephanie Jarvis of Château de Lalande - French Heritage Society

French Heritage Society is thrilled to offer this virtual event series in partnership with our Young Patrons Circle, featuring intimate chats in English with dynamic château owners*. As the ongoing pandemic has derailed the guest house and events businesses that support the restoration and continual upkeep of many historic properties, creative caretakers have taken advantage of a worldwide captive audience in need of escapism.

I sent Natalie an RSVP. Looking forward to listening to it. Thank you. Not sure how to zoom. I have two days to find out.

Anonymous

Will it possibly be recorded so we could watch later?

Anonymous

Thank you for asking this question. It's smack dab in the middle of my work day and I doubt I could pass this off as work related education 😊

Hi everyone! This is Natalie at French Heritage Society. Many thanks for the overwhelming response to this Zoom event (I shouldn't have expected anything less from the Chateau Diaries community). We do have a limit on our organization's Zoom capacity, so access to this event is first-come, first-served. Please do continue to reach out to me with your interest. We will do our best to accommodate as many as possible, and a recording of the discussion will be made available afterwards, pending Stephanie's permission. If you have already been in contact, expect to hear back by end of day tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!

I am goingnto try and view it during my lunch break. Thank you for letting us know.

Thank you! This sound like fun. I'm such a dork, though. I read the message in my email and didn't see that it was in english too. I emailed Natalie and asked if it was english too. 🤦‍♀️😂

Anonymous

Thank you!! I got so excited, that I forgot I had already emailed Natalie and just emailed her twice. 😂🤣 (Natalie if you're reading this, I'm so sorry!)

Denise Behrends

Looking forward to the call! It’s so thoughtful of you, Natalie, to also provide a recording of the discussion for all to view.

Carrie Miller

This sounds MARVELOUS! Unfortunately, if I'm doing the time conversion correctly, it is right in the middle of my school day...any way I could relate it to the Mexican American War so I can tie it into my lesson and watch it in class? ;)

Anonymous

Oh thank you Stephanie & Natalie May!! I am zipping out of here to email Natalie right now! Eeeekkkkk fingers crossed there is room for me.

You might get an email back from someone called Benjamin Wells, as he replied and sent the link to me, so might be worth double checking if you haven't received anything yet x

Anonymous

Just received the link from Benjamin and a further email from Natalie 😊!

For those of you who haven’t gotten an email from the French Heritage Society, they just sent an email saying that they have limited Zoom capabilities, but that the video will be posted to their YouTube channel soon after! I believe this is their YouTube channel so you can subscribe or keep an eye out. I’m sure someone will see it first and post the link here! https://youtube.com/channel/UCelN-Ux9KbZTm2vCwyIQeJw
