Gosh won’t Cat be pleased!!!

Anonymous

Does Marie Poupin has a special recipe for polishing the silver?

Anonymous

Wonderful. Thank you! 😊 Happy new year dear Stephanie! 💐

Anonymous

Happy New Year, Stephanie! Love the outtakes. ❤️🇨🇦

Anonymous

I just cleared out my closet as well. Of course, then I bought a 50 yr old tea pot on eBay that’s a tangerine colored luster ware Japanese teapot with a moriage dragon, a painting of 2 flamingos, an alligator, and a palm tree. Above all of this is emblazoned the word “Florida.” It’s the perfect intersection of beauty and tacky and I adore it! I live in Florida and love it here so much!

Anonymous

Loved getting a glimpse into Boxing day at Lalande. Also special seeing Antoine and Marie as well!

Anonymous

it's lovely to be with Stephanie and the get-a-long gang

Anonymous

so fun!

Anonymous

Nothing beats a good clear out.

Anonymous

We don't typically celebrate Boxing Day here in the US, but I'm inspired. I've added Boxing Day BBQ to the calendar for 2021. Why not? Any excuse for friends and food is a good one, don't you agree?

Anonymous

We always celebrate Boxing Day BC it's one more full day of eating! 🧀🍫🦐 This video is exactly the balm we needed today. LOVE everything about this video; thanks so much!!! 🥰 That bracelet and the singing (and the Playmobil we have some still! 🤣)

Anonymous

The porcelain shopping looks like my sort of day. What fun. And congratulations on the wardrobe cleanout. Now you can buy more, LOL.

Anonymous

I love Cat's voice. Both her and Stephanie are amazing readers!

Anonymous

How lovely! I do love the outtakes. :D

Anonymous

Aww. I’m so envious of you being able to ride the Christmas tree merry go round. 🎄🎄. So fun. 😺

Anonymous

Eagerly awaited this video. I’ve missed your vlogs Stephanie. Had to laugh at Marie opening the advent gifts in advance. Naughty, naughty girl. 😂 Very ungodess like.

Daniel Hammond

Thank you for the video. I loved this one. Limoge is so beautiful!

Anonymous

And wasn't Marie sprung as the person who snuck in a stole some of the lollies?!!

Anonymous

Thank you, I love the out takes!

Anonymous

I love baby Yoda too!

Anonymous

Philip’s love for his grandparents and the memories he shares of them are truly beautiful. And, the trios you sing fill my heart with joy. ❤️ Thank you.

Anonymous

Lovely to catch up again. Can’t wait to see the progress this year! Bonne annee! ,L

Anonymous

Lovely update!! So happy to hear about the tiles...perfect solution!

Anonymous

The Outtakes are amazing. I really enjoyed all of them. xoxo

Anonymous

What a great way to end this horrific day here in the United States. ❤️

Anonymous

Oh!!! That was just lovely!!! So glad about the all round tile solution. Looking forward to seeing the new loo finished.

Anonymous

I so agree! I finally felt like I could stop the stress of watching CNN and MSNBC. Really needed my LaLonde fix.

Anonymous

Thank you for this tonight. I was so looking forward to it. Love all of the out-takes. So glad Mandy is coming back too. Could you let us in on the pretty gold bauble on the ring finger of your left hand?

Anonymous

I loved the Christmas Diaries...and this is just icing on the cake. I love the music playing in the background.

Anonymous

I love how Cat is reading 12 days of Christmas and I can hear the Charlie Brown tune in the background.

Georgette Jones

Oh my you will be busy and the French town looks like a fairy tale ❗️

Anonymous

What a fun time;) I hope we can all return to normal soon, but until then your videos lift my spirits so much. Thank you! I have 3 baby Yodas....he's too cute!

Jane Nunn

Cat you are hilarious

Anonymous

Antoine is so much like my son was at that age. He loved LEGOs and Funko figures. (Now he's 24). What a beautiful town Limoges is...and the snow on Christmas day was magical. Thank you Stephanie and crew for brightening up a very dark day here in the US. Love you all.

Anonymous

We had a bonfire here in Denver on New Years Eve. I was very happy to see you having one too. It's a must do on cold winter nights. And a great way to bring people together in nature.

Anonymous

Such a lovely vlog Stephanie! Thank you. Enjoyed all the different snippets. The singing, the fun, play, Boxing Day barbecue, shopping and more. And the serendipitous solution on the original floor tiles! Brilliant. I know you’ll all have some great fun and hilarity as you Spring Clean ! Happy New Year to all of you at LaLande.

Anonymous

Well I can see a side trip to Limoges is a must when visiting LaLande! Be and thank you for sharing John Julius Norwich! Hysterical!

Anonymous

Thank you so much Stephanie!!

Anonymous

Wonderful 💗Thank you Stephanie

Anonymous

That was fun! Can’t wait to see the Spring Clean Out! I’m already started myself. I buy and sell antiques so I always have an excuse to have excess everything in literally every room. But, I am letting things go because I’ve realized I like finding them more than keeping them, and I need my home cleared for my own sanity. I love the joy that people get from finding a treasure! I’m lucky my business affords me the opportunity to do so many things I love! Cheers all!

Anonymous

Thank you for this, Stephanie. I felt as if I was right there with you all! I'm a new patron and have been having a delightful time catching-up on videos. Joyeuse année à tous! xox

Anonymous

Marie Kondo changed my life! I can’t wait to see how much you manage to clear out... probably more if Kat were there... should you wait perhaps? 🤔 😘

Anonymous

Enjoyed this video of the out takes! It can be overwhelming and frustrating to sort and purge. The end result is wonderful when the weight of the items is gone! Good Luck! I can't let anything go! As soon as I get rid of something I suddenly think , Oh! I needed that! :)

Anonymous

Love all the out takes, and what a nice dose of joy. Good luck on the clear out. Can't wait to show the Playmobil to my sister!!

Anonymous

Sadly the UK is in very strict lockdown currently. I doubt Kat can get back to France let alone LaLande at the moment.

Anonymous

After watching TV about todays events in America, my country, it was a joy to end the evening with this fun and interesting vlog. Stephanie thank you. You are one of the most wonderful people in the world!!!

Anonymous

I love a good clear out, so therapeutic. Yes a win win situation with the flooding, creative thinking at its best. I love the Limoges indoor market ,super building. I remember a cafe /restaurant in there with high bar stools around the bar area with superb food ,don't know if still there.💙

Anonymous

Hello Susan. While I’m sad in the UK for what’s happened in DC, can we keep it politics free here please.

Anonymous

So good to see this, i have not yet been to Limoges but now I am definitely going for a visit, we only live approx. 1 hour 40 minutes away and only ever go to the airport. Marie, fancy taking the advent calender gifts, so loved that a lot. Thank you Stephanie for this vlog, now its time to sort out those clothes. Love from the Dordogne xx

Anonymous

Stephanie, did you get the doll's house in one of the cadeaux at the chateau? I must have missed that!

Anonymous

Thank you again , and hope there is some rest for you all xoxo

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, so glad to see you are taking things a little easier for a couple of weeks, you looked so tired in the last cadeaux vlog. Clutter is not good, great to see you having a clear out. I used to clean all the brass for my Mum, so satisfying to see the results ❣️🥰

Anonymous

Lovely vlog xx nice to touch base with you and the Lalanders again and Antoine, Marie and the elusive Nic 😄xx. Looking forward to seeing the fruition of your plans for Lalande but please pace yourself this year xx Rome wasn’t built in a day xx your enthusiasm is inspiring xx take care xx😘

Anonymous

Love these videos! Thank you!

Anonymous

I play guitar! I'd happily come and play it non-stop until everyone grows sick of it and it ends up on the fire.

Anonymous

Thank you, Stephanie for sharing all the fun extra bits and bobs! You have inspired me to do some much needed clearing. My husband Peter and I often chat about one day going to visit/work at Lalande. Peter is very musical and could play that guitar for us all around the bonfire. 😊🎶 Happy New Year to all! Stay safe and healthy. 🌟💜🇨🇦

Anonymous

A good clean out is a wonderful way to start the new year! Thanks for sharing more out takes. It was a little shot of happiness watching all the love and affection you share with each other.

Ramon

In Croatia we have a saying: there are 3 things which satisfy human beings : seeing water running, seeing fire burning and seeing somebody working!

Anonymous

Wow, Limoges is a beautiful town. Loved seeing all the footage, including the out takes and extras from Lalande. ❤️ I can’t wait to see all the projects and developments that are coming up for the Chateau!! Happy New Year, Stephanie!! 💫🌟💫

Anonymous

I love going shopping with you and the gang! I don't spend a thing but enjoy all the scenery! lol. Thanks for sharing your sunshine! :)

Anonymous

Really enjoyed the outtakes, and I am glad you are scaling down the vlogs. You need to, we want you in good health & with a good life. As much as clearing up helps creativity, so does getting enough rest. Take good care , x

Anonymous

"I may have a problem ... " Hilarious!!

Anonymous

It snowed here in Ohio on Christmas Day as well ! It's been years since we've had a white Christmas. Loved the video..thank you !

Anonymous

Fabulous even more I want to go to Limoges, and I must clean the silverware 🙄☹️🥂

Anonymous

Wonderful as always, thank you. Best of luck with the clear out, doing that here at my house. Always feel much better after. It’s all about re styling the clothes you already have now for 2021 😊❤️

Anonymous

Thank you for the wonderful gift of love you share with all the family you have drawn in to view this beautiful life surrounding you. Love the clips at Lalande, the museum visits, the fantastic shopping runs, the incredible fun and laughter that follow that infectious personality called Stephanie! You are hysterical, kind, giving and truly a blessing to your piers. You bring out the best in any situation you find yourself in. I am addicted to Lalande and everyone of your friends and family in it. I can not wait for you to travel again, Isabelle & Percy to make their appearance, along with Scotman and your volunteers. What an exciting year ahead with the great plans laid out, wow are you going to be reaping what you have sowed! Can’t wait!!! ❤️🎉🥳

Anonymous

Such a lovely vlog, loved seeing Limoges, and hope you have a really good clear out, xx

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, You have inspired me to get on an do a clear-out too. The amount of cloths I buy from a charity shop is ridiculous but at least I console myself by saying I'm helping charities. Happy New Year.

Anonymous

loved this ...video began with an epic SNORT from Phillip.what a way to begin...I was thinking with all your notoriaty maybe consider selling alot of your clothes on FB...I am sure there are many out there who would love to buy your clothes..for one it is yours for second the $$$ will go the chateau for various things needed....Happy your slowing down a little if only for a short time..Recharge those battries Stephanie...xoxoxo

Anonymous

This was great ... yes I’m inspired to have a clear out too. Marie Poupins is a great asset to you isn’t she. I’m with the others that it’s good to be cutting down on the vlogs for a while as we all know how hard you work. Xx💕

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, will you be posting Davie’s video about the plans for the garden

Anonymous

Love the outtakes! I was cracking up hearing your laughter ring out while riding that Christmas Tree ride (I also love that a Christmas tree ride exists)!

Anonymous

Best regards from México.

Anonymous

Is there a place where we might be able to purchase some of the things you may be selling? I'd love to have something that has come all the way from LaLande.

Anonymous

La Landers!! there is a channel which needs like minded people to watch them - I think they only have like 800 subscribers☹ "sauve mon chateau" and you can get english subtitles in most videos. please help spread the love Stephanie has brought together❤

Anonymous

Loved all of it.....the Christmas tree ride in Limoges was amazing....I have never seen anything like this! Cannot wait to see your clearing out vlogs ❤️🏰❤️

Anonymous

Hello team Lalande I loved this video, specially the part about Limoges as I live 45 minutes away from it ! We didn’t go to the Christmas market this year and I regret it because my daughter would have enjoyed the Christmas tree ride a lot. I hope they will have it next year ! I’m glad you enjoyed going there because it is a very nice city, on a human scale 😄

Anonymous

I really enjoyed all your vlogs this past year and this one was no exception, I am missing you all already but think you are very wise to take a break. Looking forward to your next one and you coming back more refreshed. All the best for 2021 🙂

Anonymous

So, I wasn't the only grown up to get a dollshouse for Christmas! .... this video was a true delight, thank you for sharing 😊

Anonymous

Brilliant as ever! I loved the story about Marie eating all the advent chocolates. It reminded me of the story my husband told me about when he was young. He went downstairs and opened all his sisters presents that were under the tree for her then went upstairs, woke her up and told her everything she’d got! He and Marie are very mischievous! Totally my sense of humor! Thanks again Stephanie for all the time and effort you put into all your vlogs, it’s very much appreciated! Happy New Year! X

Anonymous

Hi Stephanie, can I ask where you purchased your Red Poncho/wrap that you wore in Tallinn last Christmas 2019, I've been trying to find one but no luck yet. xxx

Anonymous

“Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells all seem to say throw cares away”

Anonymous

We would have loved listening the entire carol!!

Anonymous

So good to see Cat again! Can’t wait for her to get back. Mandy and Hani too. Hope Gerry can get to see you soon! I know you miss each other so much.

Anonymous

For the first time, seeing the Patreon dollar amount in Canadian dollars: CA$29,731. Not sure how that matches up to the amounts everyone else sees as Canadian currency is less than the USD and Euro, but still...WOW!

Anonymous

My daughter has that exact same playmobil! She’s 27 now but I’ve kept it! It’s wonderful.

Anonymous

I absolutely LOVED this video. Cannot tell you how excited I am about the spring clearout as well. It is so satisfying to watch! Wishing everyone a happy year full of new adventures. Thank you for all your hard work, it is greatly appreciated :)

Anonymous

Such good fun, the celebration at the bonfire, taking a look at Limoges, and, omG, the dolls house....lucky you! Happy New Year, especially to Crottecrotte ad Baby Yoda! ;-)

Anonymous

So much fun! I have been hugely into decluttering for a few years and it has made a massive difference in our home - we enjoy living in it sooo much more, knowing that everything we have has been carefully curated, and that the things that we have passed on or donated to charity shops are now finding new homes and new appreciative owners.

Anonymous

P.S. I am very envious of the amazing dolls' house! I've always wanted one of those, although I don't know where I'd put it!

Anonymous

Wow let the fun begin! I’m up for buying a scarf etc and laying for postage! I know it would be more stress and time on your part that’s if you want to to it but knowing the money would go towards LaLande amazing!

Anonymous

How does yours compare, Etholle? Stephanie's one is pretty mega!

Anonymous

I would love to know the author and complete title for the 12 days of Christmas. Our family buys a book each year for Christmas and we couldn't find one we didn't have, so please let me know.

Anna Ibarra

Happy New Stephanie! I love the outtakes, gosh you just don’t have any bad footage! All good! But I was drinking water when Marie confessed she may have a problem! 😆😁😄😂🤣😅 There went my water! 🤪. Hilarious! And thank you for introducing us to that book 12 days of Christmas! I went online to order some. Want to order several to be ready for this years Christmas for gifts. I will check on Amazon , eBay and if anyone has any sites other the. Those where I can buy a few more copies let me know. Can be used is even better! Not to pricey now. Found 2 for $9. & 12. 👌🏼I have to afford my patreon fees. Lol,

Anna Ibarra

Go to Quintin Blake or you can go under 12 days of Christmas correspondence, John Julius Norwich 12 days ...

Anna Ibarra

Oh yes, I’d love to by something like that! Stephanie have an online sales and we can cover post prices. Just like the online thrift apps, we pay for post to buy used items.

Anna Ibarra

I think Stephanie you are also helping us in giving us time away to de clutter our own closets and here in US garages .

Theresa Romero

This was so fun! Thank you so much! 💗

Anonymous

Thank you so much for sharing Cyril Huve's new release! When you showed him playing the Moonlight Sonata last year, I had hoped to find his music. I think his interpretation is the best I've ever heard and was never able to find it until now. Most pianist's interpretations I find to be very cold. His is so heartfelt. I love it.

Anonymous

Such a joy watching all of you and enjoying this holiday season’s out-takes. Best wishes to you and all the La Lande residents.

Garrie and Cindy Garrison

Oh I loved that. Marie is one of my favorites at LaLande. And Selmar's beautiful, musical laugh. He loves a fire. Selmar loves most everything! He's very positive, as you are! Still missed Isabelle and Percy and Gerry, as I bet you did. But has the chateau ever looked more resplendent for Christmas?!! Even the rooms were dressed up!

Anonymous

I just wanting to agree with many of the comments here and say that the reason I love your vlogs and have become a patron is because of your positivity and the positivity of everyone at the château. I feel uplifted every time I watch you and, this year especially, that feeling is worth its weight in gold. So thank you et merci, Danielle x

Anonymous

Best of luck with your KonMari, that sure is an enormous pile of clothes! I am surprised and a bit disappointed that Marie would be so disrespectful to her friends, that is bad form! You might have to start using your chatelaine's belt & lock up all the parcels safe from sneaks.

Anonymous

I cannot wait to see the next video....the closet clear out is just amazing! ❤️🏰❤️

Anonymous

Honestly wish that I could be a volunteer for this process. I love sorting and organising stuff. As a child, my mum would let me lose on the kitchen drawers and tupperware, and I would neatly sort and organise 😂

Anonymous

so CUTE! All the outtakes were so fun. It actually makes me wonder how you choose what stays...it must be tough sometimes. I loved when you ran into Cyril in town...it was like a little piece of pre-covid life and people. And that xmas tree bauble ride was so cute!!! I wish every little town had something like that at Christmas. I might actually show it to our local town here, see what they think for next year. If you're down to one Chateau Diaries per week for a while of course you'll be missed, but it's all the more reason to go back and rewatch some older episodes, of which there are plenty.

Denise Behrends

Thank you for sharing the outtakes—always appreciated. Indeed any and all of the footage is such a pleasure to watch, that one hesitates to consider them outtakes! Loved seeing Marie’s pure delight with the dollhouse. A dollhouse brings just as much joy as an adult as it did when one was a child. The Gardener’s Cottage is so charming in its lovely simplicity. I imagine Marie has a special gift for creating comfort and home with her family, whatever place she calls home.

Anonymous

Great update!! I really loved the dollhouse you got for Christmas. Super cute!! It was good to see Cat again as well. I hope she comes back soon. Maybe she can bring Scottman with her??? Really looking forward to having Mandy back. I hope she had a wonderful holiday with her family. Using the flooring from the future china pantry in the downstairs loo and petite salon is genius! So glad it worked out. Will the Juliet balcony being installed in your room be placed in the window over the front entry downstairs, so it will stand out more? I was just trying to imagine how beautiful it will be when the work is complete. You also have some metal bed frames in the attic. Could they be cleaned up, painted and repurposed as outdoor seating in the garden. Lounging in the garden sounds wonderful right now. It's only 25 degrees F here in Chicagoland. I hope you're all warm and snug at Lalande. <3

Anonymous

omg I have that same exact lego doll house! My dad bought it for me as a child and helped me build it which is such a special memory for me. I've kept the doll house ever since but it is now painted all black because I used it as an installation piece in my high school art show so it looks all dark and spooky lol but I still love it and plan to keep it forever! So cool to see the same one in this video!

Anonymous

I just realized it isn't a lego product but playmobil lol I really don't know my toy companies but it is indeed the same doll house!

Anonymous

Easiest way to clean a bunch of silver is to soak it in a bowl lined with aluminum foil, in hot water with baking soda, salt, and vinegar. See recipes online. The cleaning power is magic, and so much less manual polishing.

Anonymous

I did the foil and soda method on my silver jewellery and it brought it up a treat.

Jodi and Scott Barck

I love the tone of Kat's voice. I'm from New Jersey and talk fast and my brain works fast. So I'm always wanting her to speed up and finishing her sentences in my head. Haha. My husband speaks slow too and gets annoyed if I finish his sentences and when I try not to he looks at me like he wants me too because he can't think of the words haha.

Anonymous

Oh everything was a joy, thank you xxxxxx

Anonymous

Love this type of post. A collage of various activities. It’s different views and activities than the usual vlogs. Thank you.

Anonymous

It hasnt been reached yet?

Anonymous

Oh thank you so much for these wonderful Christmas outtakes. i loved them! Much love to you all!

Anonymous

Love this! You've inspired me to do the same. :)

Anonymous

You are so nice, kind, humble, and generous in many ways. I am honestly proud of you and please stay as sweet as you are.

Anonymous

As a very keen gardener I always enjoy the vlogs which includes improvements to the garden. This one was very informative. I think the survey is a must before any worked is started, which seems to be what is planned. Can I suggest when you put work out for tenders you take into account any costs for maintenance and upkeep..

Anonymous

Ah, I miss Kat. I hope she'll be back

Leah Hamdaoui

such a heartwarming sense of comradary and sharing. It's wonderful to feel a part of that albiet from a distance :-)
